SPIRITUAL IDLENESS ROMANS 12:11 If there is one thing I have personally come to learn about the Holy Spirit, it is that He is not the author of idleness whether physical or spiritual. So if you are lazy, you didn't learn that from Christ. The Holy Spirit can keep you on your toes 24/7. He has work for you to do, not that He doesn't allows us to rest, not at all. God authored rest(Genesis 2:2)and one of the major promise of the Bible is the promise of REST to God's people, Matthew 11:28, 1Kings 5:4, Joshua 21:44, Hebrews 4:9, Isaiah 32:18, Isaiah 28:12. After God worked six days he rested on the seventh, thus laying the pattern for us to follow. The Bible says God giveth his beloved sleep, Psalm 127:2.
