THE ATTITUDE OF THANKSGIVING  EPHESIANS 5:19&20 Thanksgiving goes beyond just taking time out to sing praises and worship God on a daily basis. As good as that is, it is more than that.  Thanksgiving is an attitude, it is a heart positioning. Having a grateful heart towards God at all times.  The Psalmist said I will enter His gate with thanksgiving, then he went on to say I will enter His court with praise,Psalm 100:4.This is quite revealing and it illustrates exactly what I am talking about.  Thanksgiving is first a heart attitude, it is from this heart attitude that the second action spring from, praise. Praise is a verbal expression of thanksgiving.  Today, my emphasis will be on thanksgiving as an heart attitude not only as verbal expression.  When the heart is positioned right, praise is the automatic response. Luke 6:45 says "A good man out if the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good and an evil man out of the evil treasur...

THE MYSTERY OF THANKSGIVING  PART 3 1THESSALONIANS 5:18 O ften times we ask God to bless us, but do you know we can also bless God, Psalm 103:1? When we praise God and worship Him, it blesses God.  Thanksgiving ministers to God. How do you feel when your son or your daughter turns to you and say, "Thank you for taking good care of me, you are a good mum or dad?"  The same thing that statement does to you is what it does to God when you thank Him.  But imagine a child that always complain about you not doing enough no matter what you do. You are not too enthusiastic about doing much for that child, you only do things for him out of obligation.  Many of us are used to complaining when things are not enough or not available or rough. When we complain or grumble what you are doing is praising the devil.  Complaining only makes things worse not  better. Things don't improve because you complain or grumble about them, rather it gets worse, Numbers 21:4-6....

THE MYSTERY OF THANKSGIVING  (PART 2) 1THESSALONIANS 5:18 T hanksgiving is a powerful mystery. Are you sad? Begin to thank God, not for the sadness but because of what the word of God says.  As you begin to focus on the word of God, the joy in your spirit will begin to manifest in the natural and your soul begins to rejoice.  You have drawn what is in your spirit into your soul through thanksgiving because you acknowledge that in your spirit man where the Holy Spirit dwells, you have all the fruits of the spirit, of which joy is one.  So you begin to focus on what is not seen(joy in your spirit) then what is not seen becomes manifested as your experience in the physical.  1Peter1:8 says, "Whom having not seen, ye love, in whom, though now you see him not, yet believing ye rejoice with joy unspeakable, full of glory.  That is thanking God and rejoicing for what you have not seen. This is exactly how faith pleases God, when we thank Him for what He has done b...
