WALK CIRCUMSPECTLY EPHESIANS 5:1 Growth is sequential, in stages and there is what is needed for each stage of growth.  You must understand growth as what comes in stages, nobody grow all at once.  It is important that we identify what stage of growth we are in our walk with the Lord and the requirements for each stage of growth.  Understanding is key in our walk with God, Proverbs 4:7.  If you are going through process it is important that you know. If you are in the wilderness stage of your walk with God it is important that you know. If you are in the promised land it is important that you know.  Understanding these things will help you know what you ought to be doing, 1Chronicles 12:32.  Even though yam is food and it is good for our body you can't give yam to a two weeks old baby, it will kill that baby.  Yam is good food to an adult but it is poison to a two weeks old baby. The same way in our walk with the Lord, not every kind of information is ...

GENERAL AND SPECIFIC THINGS OF DESTINY Leviticus 9:6 There are general things and there are specific things. One sign that we are growing in our walk with God towards our purpose is that we are moving from doing general things to specific things.  When it comes to practicing your Christian faith, you do general things but when it comes to fulfilling your purpose you do specific things.  Immediately after giving our lives to Jesus, what the Holy Spirit gets to work to establish in us is the love of Jesus, Romans 5:5.  We agree that Jesus loves us mentally but we are not really convinced about it. Why is He doing this? So that we can trust Him.  As good as serving God is; that is not His priority , His priority is being with Him, John 15:15. A time comes that we are sure Jesus loves us but we don't trust Him yet as to hand over our lives to Him completely.  Then the Holy Spirit sets us on a journey of trusting Him.  The Sherpherd does not start leading His sh...

THE TRAVAIL Romans 8:18 The part of the Word of God that many believers don't want to hear are the sufferings of Christ. Everybody wants the glory but they don't want the pain. There is no glory without a story. Apostle Paul told Timothy his spiritual son, if we suffer with Christ, we will also reign with Him, 2Timothy 2:12.  Many wants to ride the wheel of gold but not the wheel of fire. The two are inseparable if you want to do it Jesus's way. You can't take the Cross out of the glory of Jesus, infact it was the Cross that facilitated the glory.  It is satan that tells you, you don't have to go to the Cross to carry glory, you only have to bow to him and you will carry glory but that glory is death in disguise, it is at the expense of your soul.  It is like telling a student he doesn't have to read to pass his exams. The alternative will definitely involve sinning somewhere and somehow.  No death, no power of Resurrection. If it is the power of Resurrection we...

THE POWER OF HIS RESURRECTION 1Corinthians 15 The power of resurrection has significance both in the life of believers and unbelievers alike.  It works death  that brings about life in the believers(2Corinthians 4:12) and it works salvation in the life of unbelievers(John 3:16). Salvation comprises of four major things: Eternal life, prosperity, health and deliverance.  All these four aspects of salvation are needed by both believers and unbelievers alike. One of my favorite Bible chapters is 1Corinthians 15. This chapter of the Bible teaches us the application of the death and ressurection of Jesus.  It tells us about three major things: The resurrection of Christ, the resurrection of the dead and the resurrection body. Even though the birth of Jesus is more celebrated than His death, His death and ressurection is more significant and pivotal to our christian faith. It is the foundation upon which rest our Christian faith. If He had not died there wouldn't have been...
