FEAR NOT, ONLY BELIEVE

MARK 5:36

A strong revelation of the word of God drives fear away. 

There is something you can know that will not make you afraid where others are shaken to their root with fear. 

Is your life built on the incorruptible word of God or on the arm of flesh or human wisdom and expertise? 

Every other thing that is not built on the word of God will pass away, moth will eat them up like a garment, the strength of men will fail and the wisdom of men will perish but the word of God endureth forever and ever(1Peter 1:23) and when it is what our entire life is built on we can lie down in safety and none will make us afraid. 

Isaiah 33:6a says " And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of our times.....". What do you know that makes you unshakable? 

God told Isaiah not to say conspiracy to what the people say conspiracy to and not to fear their fear nor be afraid but to sanctify the Lord of Host Himself and let Him be his fear and let Him be his dread and He shall be for a sanctuary for Isaiah but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offence for both the house of Israel, for a gin and and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, Isaiah 8:12-14. 

One of the best things you can do for yourself is to take time to meditate on the Word of God daily. 

Don't just rush through the Bible and say I have finished today's quota. Chew the word of God, masticate it, digest it. It is the word of God read and understood that can build you up and drive fear away from your life. 

Jeremiah said I found your word and I DID EAT THEM and it was a joy and rejoicing unto my soul, Jeremiah 15:16. 

If you want good success and you want your ways to be prosperous, the key is to MEDITATE THERE IN (THE WORD OF GOD) DAY AND NIGHT, Joshua 1:8. 

If some one ask you what assurance you have that your children or even you will do well with the situation of this country, what will you answer them? 

Tell them you will send them abroad or run abroad yourself? 

What rises up inside you to answer such questions that life throws at you? 

Will your fear speak or your faith? 

At such times only the word of God that you have chewed and digested can answer for you not the one you just read through. 

Will you say I know whom I have believed and I am persuaded that He is able to keep that which I have committed unto Him against that day, 2Timothy 1:12? 

Will you say I will build up many barns and fill it  up with goods and say my soul rest and eat? 

You know there are so many questions that life throws at us that can bring fear but the word of God has a ready answer for all of them. 

Life can ask you what makes you think you stand a chance with this kind of upbringing you had? 

What makes you think you will last in that business or ministry? Do you have ready answers for them? 

Have you found where it is written concerning you that despite your faulty upbringing Jesus is able to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, Jude 24b? 

Have you found such people that were orphans and fatherless yet God made them great fathers and mothers of nations with great marriages, their future not reflecting their past?

For your business and ministry have you found where it is written, Now UNTO HIM who is able to keep you from falling, Jude 24a? 

That is your assurance that you will last not just that you have built ramp walls and bulwark around your business or that you have experts working for you, 1Peter1:23.

All those things will perish but the word of God will endure forever,  Ecclessiastes 3:15. 

Are you barren in one area of your life or another or you are without a child and people have mocked you that there won't be a child to take care of you and bury you in your old age? 

Don't just answer by saying someone that has a child and the one that doesn't; it is a child that will bury them. That is too feeble a defense. 

Have you found where it is written concerning you "Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear, break forth into singing and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the LORD", Isaiah 54:1. 

There are just too many things that wants to make you afraid in this life but just the same way there are so many many promises of God in His Word to keep you in faith. 

The Bible says whereby sin reigned unto death, grace (not to sin) reigned much more through Jesus Christ until eternal life, Romans 5:17&21. The same way too, where fear reigned, faith reigned even much more. 

Get into the word and soak yourself in it, chew it and digest it until it becomes a wall of defence around you, even fear will see you and flee because the shield of faith around you is so wide.

SALVATION PRAYER

Anything short of you being born again and living a life of holiness and purity hurt Jesus so much. But you can make things right here and now by saying this simple prayer and mean it genuinely from your heart:

 Lord Jesus I come to you today. I acknowledge that I am a sinner and I cannot help myself. I repent of all my sins and I forsake them. Jesus, I invite you into my life, be my Lord, be my Saviour. 

Wash me by your precious blood, forgive my sins and write my name in the book of life. From this day, I promise to follow you all the rest of my life. Help me Lord, in Jesus name, Amen. Congratulations you are now born again!
