A TALE OF TWO CITIES

(PART TWO)

Genesis 11:4, Hebrews 11:10&16

You may be a Zionite that has been living by the wisdom of Babylon, it is time to come out so that you will not be partaker of her sins and you will not receive of her plagues, Revelation 18:4.

Where is the scribe where is the wise, where is the disputer of this world, has God not made foolish the wisdom of this world?1Cirinthians 1:20, Isaiah 47:1-3, Jeremiah 51:1-10.

Deliver thyself O Zion that dwellest with the daughter of babylon, flee from the land of the North (wordly wisdom) saith the Lord, for the Lord has redeemed His own people Zechariah 2:6&7, Isaiah 48:20.

The lord has a provision for His own people in Zion, a city built by His wisdom; therefore we will not defile ourself with the kings meat.

The Lord has brought forth our righteousness, come and let us declare in Zion the works of the lord our God, Jeremiah 51:10.

We dont need to go to Babylon and borrow their wisdom to succeed in life. There is plenty of godly wisdom yet untapped in Zion, Job 28:7&8, 20&21, 23&28.

So let every Zionite flee out of the midst of Babylon and deliver every man his own soul; be not cut off in her iniquity. For this is the time of the Lord's vengeance; he will render unto her recompence, Jeremiah 51:6

The bible says we should examine ourselves if we are still in faith.

If it is not possible for us to have gone astray from the way of faith that God ordained for us this would mot have been written.

Four times, scriptutes tell us the just shall live by his faith. It is possible to have abandoned the way of faith and to have gone the way of the world.

How we will know is when we examine ourselves and consider our ways. What effects has the way you have been living produced in your life?

Are they consistent with righteousness peace and joy?

Yes, there may be more money more invitations to minister, more streams of income, but at what cost?

Is it at the cost of your peace and joy? Is it at the cost of your righteousness? Do you have to lie and cheat and bring down another to succeed?

That is wordly wisdom! It brings envy, confusion, engender strife and all kinds of evil work?

Do you have to sell your soul to get by? The prosperity of the righteous is as his soul prospers not at the expense of his soul, 3 Johñ 1:2.

The preservation of your soul matters to God more than your prosperity in the equation of success, what does it profit a man if he gains tge whole qorld but loses his own soul?Mark 8:36.

Once again I say to you, consider your ways.

The Israelites refused to return and chose to run on horses and chariots but the Lord told them so also shall them that pursue you be swift, Isaiah 30:16.

What that means is that the wealth may be increasing but so also is their sorrow and trouble multiplying. It came at the expense of other things.

Check very well, is your sorrow multiplying as your wealth is multiplying?

Are you losing your children, your marriage your holiness and purity as your wealth is multiplying?

Ask yourself this achievement what effect is it having on my home, my children, my marriage, my peace and joy, my walk and relationship with God, my holiness and purity and the likes.

Is my soul prospering as my finances and intellectual prowess is prospering?

We know what the prosperity of the righteous look like.......the blessings of the Lord maketh rich and added no sorrow with it, Proverbs 10:22.

If the only thing prospering in your life is money or ministry or intellectual prowess you are not truly prosperous.

When you follow the ways of the Lord, He makes you to lie down in green pastures in every area of your life not in one area only.

He handles your life wholistically not just one area alone; the way we do and look at things.

You might have examined your ways and see that you have missed it somewhere; there is no cause for alarm, salvation is waiting for you.

No matter how badly you might have done, the Lord says, "As the sherpherd taketh out of the mouth of the lion two legs or a piece of an ear, so shall the children of Israel be taken out that dwell in Samaria in the corner of a bird and in Damascus in a couch", Amos 3:12.

Right where you are, I want you to turn to the Lord in genuine repentance. Tell him you need him in your life.

Surrender the reigns of your life to him and ask nim to take over. Ask the Lord to teach you how to live by faith, ask him to show you your teachers and that he should open your spiritual ears to hear them when they are speakingto you.

God always look to a man that is contrite and broken, so if you pray that prayer genuinely He has heard you. And I join my faith with yours and declare that it is so in Jesus name.

SALVATION PRAYER

Anything short of you being born again and living a life of holiness and purity hurt Jesus so much. But you can make things right here and now by saying this simple prayer and mean it genuinely from your heart:

Lord Jesus I come to you today. I acknowledge that I am a sinner and I cannot help myself. I repent of all my sins and I forsake them. Jesus, I invite you into my life, be my Lord, be my Saviour.

Wash me by your precious blood, forgive my sins and write my name in the book of life. From this day, I promise to follow you all the rest of my life. Help me Lord, in Jesus name, Amen. Congratulations you are now born again!
