OUR SCARS: A TESTAMENT OF OUR VICTORIES

John.20:27, Luke 10:34

There are certain things only someone that has been through what you have been through is qualified to speak about.

If one person could have done the whole work Jesus would have chosen just one disciple.

But he choose 12, then 72 and among them was a woman who was once a prostitute and out of whom He casted out seven demons.

He chose a tax collector who knows what it truly means to be corrupt. He didnt chose them to throw the experience they had in the world away.

He chose them because of that very experience, to help someone come out of that very deceitful life.

It is death that works life!

If only God needed those with perfect life experiences, then those whose life experiences are far from.perfect will not have anyone who can relate with their pain, their past and their wounds.

Because they are surrounded with those that are too innocent to relate with what they are passing through or have passed through.

BE PROUD OF YOUR SCAR, DONT LET ANYBODY DESPISE IT. IT IS ONE OF THE THINGS GOD ANOINTS,.Luke 10:34

There are things that it is only someone with your scar that can accomplish them.

He said to make crowns and put it upon the head of Joshua and thrèe other people that were of the captivity, Zechariah 6:9-11&14.

Not everybody will have good marriages, not all homes will be reconcilled nor all wicked spouses repent.

Do you have what it takes to help those with such experiences stand strong through it.

A real saviour tastes death for those he has come to save, so he is touched with the feelings of their infirmities, Hebrews 4:15

It is that scar that qualifies you to speak to them not your scarlessness. Apostle Paul said, so then death works in us that life may work in you, 2Corinthians 4:12

You must know what qualifies you to stand before people to speak.

The same way success can qualify, failure too qualifies people to speak.

The Bible says, Let those blessings rest upon the head of him who was separated from his brethren, Genesis 49:26

Those that were not separated from their brethren cannot receive that blessing.

Your scars when anointed by God makes you like that potter sitting down and moulding those marred clays in his hands.

He fashioned them into something really beautiful far beautiful than what it was initially.

That scar may look very ugly but believe me it has compelling power, attracting people to see what God is capable of doing.

Your scar, when anointed by God has healing power, it can heal others with the same infirmities.

Sometimes, the one that people.wants to hear is not the one who has never tasted death or failure, it is the one that has tasted death and came out on the other side.

Not the one that came out victorious on the other side but the one that came out victorious standing to fight all through it, Hebrews 11:35.

Sometimes victory is receiving the ability to stand through it all and accomplishing singlehandedly what two people suppose to achieve.

You can be like one of the mighty men of David, Eleazar the son of Dodo the Ahohite, the bible says concerning him that,

".....and the men of Israel were gone away. He arose and smote the Philistines until his hand was weary and his hand clave unto the sword. The people only returned after him to the spoil, 2Samuel.23:10

He fought the battle alone nobody joined him to fight they only returned after to the spoil.

There are some life battles where reconcilliation will not happen between the husband and his wife.

You must know at what point you will define victory for yourself. Don't allow people.define what victory is for you.

Your victory may not be at the point of reconcilliation, but that you stood and fought gallantly alone and all through those challenges and your children(both spiritual and.biological) now return after you to the spoil.

You fought and won the battle for them not for yourself.

So, you don't define victory by reconcilliation, you define victory by the fact that you stood alone and fought gallantly without giving up or compromising your faith.

You may not yet know it now but what you are doing is lifting up your spear in battle against the very many battles you have to fight

Adino the Ezemite lifted up his spear against 800 and slew them all, 2Samuel 23:8.

PRAYER: FATHER, GIVE ME BEAUTY FOR MY ASHES.

SALVATION PRAYER

Anything short of you being born again and living a life of holiness and purity hurt Jesus so much. But you can make things right here and now by saying this simple prayer and mean it genuinely from your heart:

Lord Jesus I come to you today. I acknowledge that I am a sinner and I cannot help myself. I repent of all my sins and I forsake them. Jesus, I invite you into my life, be my Lord, be my Saviour.

Wash me by your precious blood, forgive my sins and write my name in the book of life. From this day, I promise to follow you all the rest of my life. Help me Lord, in Jesus name, Amen. Congratulations you are now born again!

PEACE
