DESTINY MATTERS 101

PATHWAY TO DESTINY FULFILMENT

What is destiny? Destiny means many things to many people. Many people calls destiny fate but destiny is not fate. 


Destiny is what God preordained you to be in creation. His plan and purposes for creating you and sending you to the earth, John 1:6


The message this morning is for those that have discovered their destiny in God but are afraid to go all the way to do it. 


The Lord is saying to you You have stayed in hiding long enough, come out and begin to defend what you believe and stand for. 


Until you defend what you believe and stand for, what you believe and stand for will not beginto defend you.   


Living by faith is a risk but there is no way you can please God without faith.  


You have to do it afraid knowing God is there to help you all the way! 


There are things you must know if you will ever be able to go all the way to fulfill destiny. 


These are the things we will be examining. 


God called Abraham alone, Isaiah 51:2. Often times God calls men alone not in group except in few cases such as in Acts 13.


That statement "God called Abraham alone" is impregnated with a lot of meaning. 


Your number one endorser is God not men, Galatians 1:1&10. God is the one that approves men not men approving men. 


Many because they were looking for  endorsement from men have been led away from destiny. 


Secondly; you must know that the people closest to you who love and care for you genuinely and the most, may not know you in destiny but only after the flesh, 2Corinthians 5:16


This include family, friends, colleagues, neighbours and even fellow believers, Matthew 16:21-23. 


As a result of this the devil can use them to lead you away from the path of destiny fulfilment. 


The devil loves to use these set of people because he knows you know that their love for you is genuine and you believe in them. 


When it comes to God and his purposes for one's life even those that are closest to you and love you the most may not understand what God is doing with you. 


They may end up being sincerely wrong in their attempt to love, care and show concern for your situation. 


You must be sensitive enough to know that when God is promoting you at the same time is when the devil will be bringing things around your life that will not make it possible. 


Sometimes to survive these things you must encounter God first before you encounter some people or situations. 


You need to read your bible first before you read some text mesages or news paper. 


You need to know the Holy Spirit and the Word of God first before you know some people.


You need to hear the voice of the Holy Spirit first before you hear some people or some news. 


It is like building a fortification against what you are about to  encounter from those sources.


Peter genuinely loved Jesus and care for him but he just didn't savour the things of God. 


He got it right when it comes to knowing who Jesus is in destiny by revelation but he immediately denied the pathway that would make him that person in destiny. 


Revelation is powerful but it is the process that makes one to become a giver of life to others. 


What I mean is that it is not enough to have a revelation of who you are in destiny. 


It is the road you walked to actualize that revelation that will become a life giving force that you can transmit others, 2Corinthians  4:10-12. 


Don't embrace the revelation of who you are in destiny and despise the very road that will take you to its fulfilment. 


Apostle Paul said so then death worked in us that life may work in you, 2Corinthians 4:12. 


It is the process of death you went through that translates to life in others not necessarly the revelations of who you are in destiny that you have.

SALVATION PRAYER


Anything short of you being born again and living a life of holiness and purity hurt Jesus so much. But you can make things right here and now by saying this simple prayer and mean it genuinely from your heart:


 Lord Jesus I come to you today. I acknowledge that I am a sinner and I cannot help myself. I repent of all my sins and I forsake them. Jesus, I invite you into my life, be my Lord, be my Saviour. 


Wash me by your precious blood, forgive my sins and write my name in the book of life. From this day, I promise to follow you all the rest of my life. Help me Lord, in Jesus name, Amen. Congratulations you are now born again!

CHANGE FOCUS One major winning strategy is to keep your focus on what God is doing and not on what God is yet to do.  The devil is very adept at making people focus their attention either on what he is doing in their lives or on what God is not doing for them  This is the reason for sadness and depression.
