CHRIST IN YOU, THE HOPE OF GLORY

COLOSSIANS 1:27

"And when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren" - Luke 22:32.

This message is coming to give strength to someone.

A song just popped out of my spirit into my mind and I was wondering if the song was actually for me because right at that moment the song really has no bearing to anything happening.

However before the end of the day I found out that God sent that song ahead of what was going to happen. Thank God I received the song and sang it.

You know the bible says God gives us songs of deliverance in the night, , Psalm 32:7, Job 35:10. That word 'Night' doesn't necessarily mean when you are sleeping but during the dark seasons of life, seasons of cofusion, persecution and attacks.

Songs have done wonders for me in my dark and confused seasons. I cherish every bit of song the Lord sends to me. They are treasures!

Not too long after I realized why God sent the song and what the song is dealing with, scriptures too began to come to further reinforce the song. It was a double combo!

You know people wonder and ask us, what is your confidence, why do you do these things, do you really think this is taking you anywhere?

But our confidence to continue doing the things we do despite that it may look foolish to some is that the foolishness of God is wiser than men and the weakness of God is stronger than men, 1Corinthians 1:25.

Our confidence is that we have a strong city, salvation has God appointed for walls and bulwarks, Isaiah 26:1.

Our confidence is that He has not called the seed of Jacob to seek Him in vain, Isaiah 45:19.

Our cofidence is that Gid is not ashamed to be called our God for he has prepared for us a city. A city that has foundation whose architect and builder is God, Hebrews 11:10,15-16.

We know Him who made the depths of the sea a way for the Israelites to walk upon, Isaiah 51:10. For this God is our God, Psalm 48:14 .

A time comes again that by yourself you ask, Father, this and that, where are your promises and there comes again that foolishness of preaching.

And it strengthens your feeble knees and lift up your hands that are hung down and you are healed. Hebrews 12:12-13

Oh! I believe in the foolishness of preaching, there in lies the power of God to save, to heal, to deliver.

But to them that are perishing the preaching of the cross; by this I mean telling people the way to death is the way to life is gross foolishness.

But to us that are being saved it is the power of God unto healing, to salvation, to wisdom, to deliverance.

God chose in his wisdom to save those that will believe through the foolishness of preaching. It pleased Him that way, 1Corinthians 1:21.

You must have strong reasons for living the way you live and doing the things you do, if not the backlash from the speakings of men will whip you out of the will of God and out of destiny.

What is your reason for giving your all to serve the Lord?

Don't you think you are loosing out?

Many of the things the Lord requires you to do almost always will make you look foolish and stupid to the world.

Going by the way you live and do things, you can't amount to much according to the wisdom of the world.

But have you found where it is written, "I will destroy the wisdom of the wise and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent"?

Have you encountered the God that calls the wise and the scribes and the disputers of this world to question and make foolish their wisdom?

It is they that know their God that shall be strong and do exploits these last days, Daniel 11:32.

Don't be surprised that even your fellow believers (covenant people), can ask you where is your God because the Jews also require a sign, 1Corinthians 1:21.

And the Greeks which are the stark unbelievers around you are looking for the wisdom in what you say you are doing.

When you are living by the cross, that is a life of death to self (Christ crucified) it is a stumbling block to the Jews and foolishness to the Greek.

It is a stumbling block to your fellow believers who are covenant people like you but they just don't seem to understand what God is doing with you.

They think you are losing out in life living the way you do, going all out for God, sacrificing your comfort and everything to obey God.

But the Bible says, unto them which are called, that life of death to self, death to your way and your will and yes to His way and His will is the power of God!

By living that crucified life is how power comes, it is how the anointing comes. It is how the glory comes. It looks foolish but it is superior wisdom, 1Corinthians 2:6-7.

This is why not so many are called because they are too wise, too noble, too scientific, mighty and too strong for God to work through them.

But God hath chosen the foolish things of this world to confound the wise and the weak things of this world to confound the things that are mighty. Why? So that no flesh will glory in His presence.

I know you are growing tired by the day and becoming weary, trying to stand against all the persecutions, attacks, the scourging tongues of men and lying lips of men that are speaking grievous things proudly and contemptously against your standing for the will of God day in day out.

But I say to you by the Word of the Lord, Awake, awake, put on your strength, O sons and daughters of Zion.

Put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem the Holy City, for henceforth there shall no more come to thee the uncircumcised and the unclean.

Shake yourself from the dust of discouragement and depression and sit down, Isaiah 52:1&2

For the lord will comfort your waste places and make all your desert like the garden of the Lord.

Your wilderness shall become like the garden of Eden and joy and gladness and thanksgiving and the voice of melody shall be heard in you, Isaiah 51:3.

Who is among you that feareth the Lord and obeys the voice of His servant but he or she is walking in darkness and hath no light?

Let him trust in the name of the Lord and stay upon His God. Don't do it, don't kindle a fire and compass youself about with sparks that you have kindled because the Lord says it will bring you sorrow, Isaiah 59: 10-11.

The bible says concerning Joseph that archers have shot at him and sorely grieve him and hated him but his bow abode in strength and the arms of his hand were made strong by the hands of the mighty God of Jacob, Genedis 49:23-24

The bible says let all these blessings be upon the head of him who was separated from his brethren, Genesis 39:26.

There is a blessing reserved for those that have separated themselves from their brethren to go all out for God, Isaiah 64:4, 1Corinthians 2:9, Isaiah 66:5

"And Sharon shall be a fold of flocks and the valley of achor a place for the herds to lie down for my people that have sought me; sayeth the Lord" Isaiah 65:10.

I pray for you; you will not give up no matter what! Your bow will abode in strength and the arms of your hands shall be made strong by the mighty hands of God in Jesus name, Amen.

I bring you the Word of the Lord.

SALVATION PRAYER

Anything short of you being born again and living a life of holiness and purity hurt Jesus so much. But you can make things right here and now by saying this simple prayer and mean it genuinely from your heart:

Lord Jesus I come to you today. I acknowledge that I am a sinner and I cannot help myself. I repent of all my sins and I forsake them. Jesus, I invite you into my life, be my Lord, be my Saviour.

Wash me by your precious blood, forgive my sins and write my name in the book of life. From this day, I promise to follow you all the rest of my life. Help me Lord, in Jesus name, Amen. Congratulations you are now born again!
