RE-DEFINING THE CONCEPT OF THE WILL OF GOD IN MARRIAGE

(PART 2)

Malachi 2:15

The more you help your spouse love God not just yourself, the more secured you will be in that relationship/marriage.

The best thing you can do for people, is not just to love them while you are shielding them from loving God.

Your security in marriage is not that your love for each other is increasing but your love and honour for God and your fear of Him is increasing. In there lies the security of your marriage.

Human love is transient and can become hatred overnight when offended. But when your love is sponsored by the fear of the Lord, it is protected and shielded from the assault that the devil brings against natural human love overnight.

The success of a marriage is rooted in increasing love of both parties for God and not just in their love for each other, Romans 5:5

Growing in your love for each other and not in your love for God is dangerous.

One of the greatest mistake people make in relationships and marriages especially women, is shielding their spouses from God while claiming to love them.

The more you help your spouse love the Lord more, the better secured you are in your marriage or relationship.

Men, particularly the unbelievers seem to understand this better. They encourage their wives to go to church and be praying for them while they go to club.

Never shield your spouse from loving the Lord while claiming your love for God is increasing whether you are a man or woman.

God gave Adam an assignment first before He said to him that it was not good for a man to be alone.

Many today are looking for the will of God in marriage without having found their life's purpose.

Only to find out later that the person they got married to doesn't fit into that purpose, then trouble starts in the marriage.

And to maintain peace and keep the marriage, they may have to forget about fulfilling purpose and just coast along.

What many people want is a Yes or No answer when it comes to the will of God in marriage.

Once they have that answer; that is it! They relax and say nothing can happen to our marriage afterall I confirmed that he/she is the will of God for me.

He is a brother or she is a sister so they say, and they believe that is suffix to make the marriage work.

Things can still go wrong inspite of that, if you don't work at your relationship/marriage

Marrying the will of God in marriage doesn't mean you won't have battles to fight or that the sister or brother will be perfect.

But knowing that he or she is the will of God for you will make you stay put in that relationship and fight all the battles until you see your victory manifest.

As a man, God can give you a woman that is not as knowledgeable as you are in the ways of God and say she is His will for you.

It becomes your job to work upon her till that which God has put in her begins to speak and then you can begin to birth Gods purpose together.

The will of God is not always a perfect or a finished product. The will of God can be someone that already has a child.

It can be a brother that is not as educated as you are or younger than you, but your purpose in God will align with or fit into each other.

The reason why I am saying this is that the will of God does not always mean 'Perfect personality'. It may mean real work on your part.

Now that we understand that Gods wìll is connected to His Purposes, we must also know that not only one person can fulfil the purpose of God with you.

If this is not true, what that means is that once the person that is the will of God for you rejects you as God's will for him or her, you will have to remain like that till you die or see Jesus.

Because nobody will be fit to fulfil Gods purpose with you again; since it is only one person God made to be able to do that.

People reject the will of God but his purpose and counsel still stand.

A spouse may die but the purpose of God still continues.

Charles and Frances Hunter of blessed memory both lost their spouses. One to cancer and the other one to divorce and separation.

Yet, God brought the two of them together as adults and they fulfilled the purpose of God for their lives together.

This is both good news and deliverance for someone!

This is not a licence for adultery or polygamy or carelessness.

When a person refuses the will of God, God will look for another person that will say Yes to His will so that His purpose can continue on earth.

So God can give you another person to fulfil His purpose with you if the initial person says no to His will.

This is deliverance for someone, because there are people that have been praying over one sister and she keeps saying no.

It doesn't always mean what you received is wrong, but the person may reject the will of God for him or her.

When this happens, God finds another person for you who will say Yes to His will so that His purposes can continue.

Men are major factor where the will of God is concerned and God doesn't impose His will on us. He gives us the liberty to either accept or reject His will.

But concerning His purposes, the will of any man cannot stop it because He will keep moving from one man to another till He will find one who will say Yes to Him.

May you be that man or woman in Jesus name.

Gods will for a man can be rejected but his purposes and counsel will always stand.

When you love God and His purposes more than a person, a condition or circumstances, it will be easy for you to switch; if the person God chose for you say no to His will or if the circumstances surrounding that individual doesn't allow for the will of God to be done like in the case of parents not accepting and the likes.

I have seen people that love a sister or brother more than the purpose and counsel of God and when the sister rejects their proposal, they refused every other person God showed them.

Now the sister has entered menopause, but the brother is still waiting for her; claiming she is the will of God for him.

Who do they really love? God and His purposes or the person of a sister or brother?

His purposes are superior and must be exalted above every condition, circumstances or person.

You know some of the things we do under the guise of the will of God drives people away from Christ rather than attract them to Him.

This message may be coming to you as someone that is already married before you come to understand that there is something called the Purpose of God for one's life.

Right from that state, God will begin to help you. It may take a while; but over time, things will begin to change for you because you did the things you did in the days of ignorance.

But if you are not yet married this message is sounding an alarm to you to get it right.

At the same time, it is supplying you with understanding so that you can find rest and comfort, that the will of God is not just limited to just one person and His will are connected to His purposes.

I pray for you that the Lord will anoint this word to our understanding in Jesus name.

PRAYER: FATHER GIVE ME THE GRACE TO STAY AND WORK AT MY MARRIAGE AND RELATIONSHIP TILL I AND MY PARTNER BIRTH YOUR PURPOSES ON EARTH IN JESUS NAME .

Anything short of you being born again and living a life of holiness and purity hurt Jesus so much. But you can make things right here and now by saying this simple prayer and mean it genuinely from your heart:

Lord Jesus I come to you today. I acknowledge that I am a sinner and I cannot help myself. I repent of all my sins and I forsake them. Jesus, I invite you into my life, be my Lord, be my Saviour.

Wash me by your precious blood, forgive my sins and write my name in the book of life. From this day, I promise to follow you all the rest of my life. Help me Lord, in Jesus name, Amen. Congratulations you are now born again!
