THE LAW OF ATMOSPHERE

EPHESIANS 4:27

The year is gradually running to an end and in a matter of days we will be in a new year.


Many of us now are looking back in retrospection to see how we have faired in the year.


While it is important that we do so as this help to stir our heart in gratitude to God, we must be careful and  guard against allowing the devil make us look at and see the wrong things. 


Hence, the need to guard our peace and joy. It is for this reason that this message is coming to us at this time to show us how the devil infilterates our atmosphere to steal our peace and joy. 


Two principal forces that makes for the victory of believers at all times.


The devil has been stripped of power, before he can enter your life he needs your permission. Colossians 2:15


What many don't know is how they give him permission. 


When he puts pressure on you so that you can react to a situation in the flesh and he then takes the words you speak at such times and uses it against you, Numbers 14:28, Revelations 12:10.


When he tries to steal your joy. He knows with joy and peace still intact, he can't come near you, Nehemiah 8:10


So, he works hard to get at your peace and joy by making you to look at things, situations and circumstances rather than what God has said and done, 2Corinthians 4:18.


He does it by directly infiltrating your mind with worry and anxiety, through fear and unbelief, doubt discouragement, bitterness, anger, covetousness, sorrow, hatred, envy, jealousy, 1Peter 5:7, Matthew 6:25.


There are times he comes through men, situations amd circumstances, Matthew 16:21&22. 


If the devil can take Jesus to the pinnacle of the temple, what makes you think he can't take you on a journey to see all the things that are wrong or not working in your life?


He showed Jesus the glories of this world and asked him to bow, Matthew 4:8&9


What makes you think he can't take you to look at the successes and glories of others but not see anything good in your own life. 


The surprising thing was that Jesus followed him on that journey. The good thing however, was that Jesus had his defence intact, the Word of God, Matthew 4:4,7&10. 


The Word of God and the testimonies of Gods faithfulness are what you need to keep sending the devil back anytime he shows up. 


They must be readily at hand because he will always come. 


The bible showed us how they overcame him in heaven, by the blood of the lamb and by the words of their testimony and not loving their lives unto death(selfless), Revelations 12:11. 


Selflessness is a kind of spiritual atmosphere while selfishness is also a kind of spiritual atmoshere. 


Anytime you are selfish or selfless know that you are creating a spiritual atmosphere that either Gid or the devil can work with.


Jesus said the prince of this world cometh, but there was nothing in Jesus that he could latch on to to gain access into his life, John 14:30.


He tried anger, covetousness, bitterness e.t.c but none of it worked. You must learn how to keep the devil away. 


Don't let the devil get you into his arena or corner where there are all works of the flesh. In Gods arena there is righteousness, peace and joy, Romans 14:17


Maintain that atmosphere, and the devil cannot come, Ephesians 4:27, Revelations 12:8 


Before he can have a chance, that atmosphere must change to his own type first. 


The bible says where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work, James 3:16


All these things are the devils tools that he attacks believers with to steal their defence. 


Once a believer's defence is gone, the devil has the atmosphere he can work with to enter and reck havock in that life. 


He loves it when people think he still has the power to come in and out of their lives as he wills. 


That thinking alone is tantamount to access in the realm of the spirit. 


Jesus stripped him of that power on the cross, Colossians 2:15. The only power left with him now is deception, deceiving people to gain access to their lives, 2Thessalonians 2:8-12.


The devil has his atmosphere and before he can work that atmosphere must be present. 


Same thing with God. If you want Him to come, create His kind of atmosphere first in your spirit and then physically.


Peace, love, joy, gratitude, selflessness, righteousness are all spiritual atmospheres. Romans 1:21&22, 1John 2:9&10, John 16:33, 14:27, Nehemiah 8:10, 2Thessalonians 3:16, Romans 16:20.


The devil goes around manipulating these spiritual atmospheres, but many don't know how. 


He changes it to look like his own. The devil has his nature and character.  All the works of the flesh mentioned in Galatians 5 are his attributes.  


When you understand his character and nature and how he works to create the atmosphere where he can kill steal and destroy, you will be able to keep him away. 


He can be kept off your territory with this understanding, Ephesians 4:27, Revelations 12:8. The bible says he is like a roaring lion going about looking for whom he may devour, 1Peter 5:8.


That means he only devours those that allow him one way or the other.


PRAYER: FATHER I APPRECIATE YOU FOR THE GIFT OF LIFE THAT YOU HAVE GIVEN TO ME. PLEASE LORD AS I LOOK BACK INTO THE YEAR HELP ME TO SEE YOUR FAITHFULNESS, AND HELP ME TO KNOW THAT THE THINGS YOU HAVE NOT YET DONE YOU ARE WORKING ON THEM AND THEIR MANIFESTATIONS HAVE GONE INTO MY FUTURE TO WAIT FOR ME. THANK YOU FATHER.

SALVATION PRAYER


Anything short of you being born again and living a life of holiness and purity hurt Jesus so much. But you can make things right here and now by saying this simple prayer and mean it genuinely from your heart:


 Lord Jesus I come to you today. I acknowledge that I am a sinner and I cannot help myself. I repent of all my sins and I forsake them. Jesus, I invite you into my life, be my Lord, be my Saviour. 


Wash me by your precious blood, forgive my sins and write my name in the book of life. From this day, I promise to follow you all the rest of my life. Help me Lord, in Jesus name, Amen. Congratulations you are now born again!

CHANGE FOCUS One major winning strategy is to keep your focus on what God is doing and not on what God is yet to do.  The devil is very adept at making people focus their attention either on what he is doing in their lives or on what God is not doing for them  This is the reason for sadness and depression.
