LEGAL GROUNDS

(PART ONE)

Isaiah 49:24-26

This morning by the help of the Holy Spirit I will be sharing with us on Legal Grounds.

Right where you are ask the Lord to grant you understanding and open your heart to receive.

Father I ask that every veil covering our eyes be removed, grant us illumination and spiritual intelligence in Jesus name

When God wanted to save man it wasn't a spirit that died he had to become man to save man, Hebrews 2:16.

You should ask, but He is God does He have to become man. He has to, because it is based on legal grounds, Psalm 115:16.

Man willingly ceeded his right to the earth to the devil, not by force but willingly, Genesis 3:6. That is what legal ground means.

When a people willingly covenant themselves to serve the devil in exchange for his help.

What they have just done is given the devil the right to their lives and lineage.

It started first with Adam and has continued from family to individuals to communities territories and nation.

In times of war, severe sickness, famine and terrible affliction families communities and individuals as well as territories go to seek help from the devil and as such enter into covenant with him to secure his help.

This help however, comes at a cost, it is not free. It is in exchange for access to their lives, health, business, marriage, children.

The devil can take anything he wants as long as they get the needed help he is giving. By so doing they have given the devil legal grounds to afflict and oppress them.

Battles based on legal grounds are somewhat difficult to fight because the devil keep insisting he has a right to that family and individual and lineage.

Sometimes ago the Lord showed me a revelation and in that revelation a hawk was trying to eat up a chick, Ephesians 2:1-2

However, everytime the hawk carries the chick it falls off from its beak to the ground.

This happened many times and right where I was watching from I felt the chick was not destined to die that I will try and save it, Ephesians 2:4-8

However each time I approach the hawk to scare it away it comes to attack me instead of running away from me as if I don't have any right at all to save the chick because it belongs to the hawk by right, Romans 7:1-4

The scene changed and the hawk became human as well as the chick and as I was figuring out what to do to help the chick the word ADOPTION dropped to my mind, Romans 8:15.

So, I went to adopt that child and that made the child became mine legally and I brought her to my house. Then the vision lifted. It was the story if adoption that the Lord was illustrating for me by that vision, Colossians 1:13.

I shared this vision to help us know that more is required when fighting battles that are based on legal grounds.

The battle for the soul of man was based on legal grounds and before God could do anything to help man as powerful as He is He had to become man, Genesis3:1-7, Hebrews 2:14&16.

He didn'tuse His power as God to deal with the devil because he is God. He fought based on legal grounds, Phillipians 2:6-8,

First of all God had to look for someone in heaven who was willing to become a man in order to save men and He found one in Jesus, Revelations 5:2-5

What does this imply when God wants to fight legal battles he looks for a man who is worthy to take the scroll of that family and break the seal and look there on, Revelations 5:2-5 , Isaiah 42:22, Isaiah 59:16.

A man that is ready to pay the price of a life of sacrifice, a life consecrated and convenanted to God in other to bring his family out.

The bible says by one man sin came into the world. Also by one man salvation came into the world, Romans 5:12&15.

Same thing applies here, by one man salvation and deliverance can come to a family, a community, a territory but what is expected of this one man?

What price does he have to pay? What is involved in bringing his family and lineage out?

What are the dynamics involved in fighting battles that are based on legal grounds?

If I am born again does it automatically mean I am free from these covenants?

Can you be that man for your family? Are you the one your family has been waiting for or should they expect another? Obadiah 1:21, Zechariah 1:21

Like Jesus can God count on you to pay the price to bring your family out of that age long captivity standing on the sacrifice of Jesus?Isaiah 53:10b

The devil uses unbroken covenants and legal grounds to gain access into the lives of God's people, John 14:30.

The serpent cannot bite unless there is a broken hedge, Ecclesiastes 10:8.

You cancel covenant by going for a higher covenant. You use covenant to cancel covenant and sacrifice against sacrifice, blood against blood, Hebrews 7:22

The bible says there is no remission of sin without blood, Hebrews 9:22. When you want to fight legal battles you bring superior evidences.

So if a lineage has been covenanted to the devil, being born again is not enough, it is only the starting point, Romans 12:1

By this I mean receiving the life of Christ is not enough, giving Him your life is the secret, 2Corinthians 5:15

To stop that access, you have to go for a superior covenant to cancel out that old covenant by covenanting to serve the Lord as a bond servant, Hebrews 10:5,9&10, Psalm 22:30.

When God wanted to deal with sin in man, He didn't cast and bind it, He raised a superior sacrifice in Jesus. The lamb without sin had to be slain and blood has to come out. It is called the blood of the eternal covenant, Luke 22:20.

The blood that came out was superior to the blood of bulls and calfs.

That is the kind of sacrifice that can totally atone for sin of men and put an end to the yearly sacrifices. He offered himself once and for all, Hebrews 10:10-12.

Prayer alone is not enough when dealing with covenants and legal grounds, binding and casting is not enough. Spiritual intelligence plus a life consecrated to serve the Lord is needed.

You must covenant yourself to serve God the same way your fathers covenanted to serve the devil and gave him a legal ground to your lineage, Psalm 81:9-16.

When you covenant yourself to serve God; from that service will come sacrifices, covenant, blood that is superior to every other one that your fathers brought to covenant with the devil, Psalm 50:5.

It was a man that sinned it was a man that died but God was that man thus making the blood and sacrifice higher and superior to any other.

When God was dealing with ordinances and laws that were written against us he didn't cast it he dealt with it by the cross(sacrifice) and by the blood, blotted it out, Colossians 2:14-15

It takes blood to blot out sin and not just any blood a superior blood. It is called the blood of atonement, 1Peter 1:18-20, John 1:29

Every other sacrifice must have the sacrifice of Jesus has its foundation to carry power, 1Corinthians 3:11. We will look into this in details in the second part.

When David wanted to stop the plague, he raised a costly sacrifice. When God wanted to save man who ceeded his right to the devil on legal grounds, He raised a costly sacrifice of His only son.

It is man that sinned it is man that myst die to redeem man. So it is what is involved that will also be used to cancel it.

Blood against blood, sacrifice against sacrifice, altar against altar; covenant against covenant.

This is why sometimes these things takes time. The weight of sacrifice or blood or covenant or altar or voice that will be raised to counter the other must be superior.

So, for an age long desolation of 250years, you may have to consistently live a life of sacrifice and service for 10 years for it to have enough weight in the realm of the spirit to cancel it.

When you don't see immediate results, this is why.

Many of us think it is automatic once we are born again but it is not so. We must become a living sacrifice like Jesus was made for us to be free from these things, Romans 12:1, Hebrews 10:5,9&10.

When a king wanted to stop the brutality of the war against him, he didnt just slaughter any of his sons, he slaughtered his heir to the throne, and indignation rose against Israel in the realm of the spirit because of the weight of that sacrifice, 2Kings 3:27.

These are the people of God and an evil king raised a sacrifice and indignation rose against God's children by reason of the weight of the sacrifice of an unbeliever! That sacrifice cancel out the sacrifice of Gods people's.

SALVATION PRAYER

Anything short of you being born again and living a life of holiness and purity hurt Jesus so much. But you can make things right here and now by saying this simple prayer and mean it genuinely from your heart:

Lord Jesus I come to you today. I acknowledge that I am a sinner and I cannot help myself. I repent of all my sins and I forsake them. Jesus, I invite you into my life, be my Lord, be my Saviour.

Wash me by your precious blood, forgive my sins and write my name in the book of life. From this day, I promise to follow you all the rest of my life. Help me Lord, in Jesus name, Amen. Congratulations you are now born again!
