BECAUSE HE HAS SET HIS LOVE UPON ME

Psalm 91:14


God has a lot of bounties for those that chose to delight in him, He said eyes have not seen neither has ears heard neither has ot entered into the heart of any man what God has prepared for those that love him, 1Corinthians 2:9. 


Waiting for God is not a waste of time. There is what God has prepared for those that wait for him and they are things that eyes have not seen nor ears heard, Isaiah 64:4. 


Know this and know peace, if you are waiting for God because there is somethinh He promised you, there is something He has prepared for you that eyes have not heard nor ears heard nor any heart perceive since the beginning of the world. 


There is a formular that God has revealed in scriptures to us for receiving our heart desires, He says delight yourself in Me and I will grant you your heart desires, Psalm 37:4. 


The secret to laying up gold as dust and gold of ophar as the stones of the brook is by delighting yourself in the Lord, Job 22:21-24.


Good come to those that acquint themselves with God, because they have set their love upon Him.


The more you love God and make Him your delight not what He gives, the more He is at liberty to lavish things on you. 


When we set our love upon things, God is restricted in how much things He can give us. 


However, when you love God and make Him your delight, He will give you things you don't even ask for because He knows they are not going to take you away from Him. 


When you truly encounter Him and see how great He is, you will do what the woman with the Alabaster box did.  


You will pour out your entire life at his feet and use the hair on your head to wipe his feet, Luke 7:37&38


All this world's goods will lose its attraction and lustre on you, it will become worthless in an instant in the light of His glory. 


Everything you are looking for and much more is in Him, Colossians 1:16&17. He is worth losing every other thing for, Phillipians 3:7&8, Matthew 13:44-46.


What did Abraham knew that made him say to the king of Sodom I have lifted my hands unto the Lord, the most High God that I will not take anything from you, not a tread to even a shoe latchet lest you say I made Abraham rich? Genesis 14:22-24


I pray that God will reveal to us what He revealed to Abraham that made Him say that. 


No one say such a thing without having known or seen something. That same thing, the Lord will show us by this message in Jesus name. 


Abraham had a strong revelation of God as the Most High God and the revelation of God as the possessor of heaven and earth, Genesis 14:22. 


And even though he was not yet walking in all the reality of the promise God made to him (Hebrews 11:9) when he met king of Sodom he was not shaken by his proposition to make him wealthy at the expense of the souls of men, Genesis 14:16&21


He encountered the king of Salem first, who blessed him and confer the same title of possessor of heaven and earth on Him. A name by which only God is called, Genesis,14:18-20


He knew something landed on him from that encounter. So, when he stood before king of Sodom and he offered him the very things God had already given him earlier, he didnt even hesitate or think twice before refusing it. 


I want you to notice something from that encounter. Abraham came back from that war with two things; people and goods, Genesis 14:16


But the king of Sodom didn't hesitate at all to let Abraham take all the goods but give him the people in exchange, Genesis 14:21. 


That should tell us something, satan is after the souls of men and he is ready to part with this world's goods in exchange for it. 


So he makes all kinds of proposition to us like, go back to school and get more certificates I will make it easy for you to get admission if you will promise me not to preach the gospel to anyone there. 


Go into that business and you will be one of the most successful if you will not disciple men and teach them to serve God and his purposes with the money they make


I will bring hundteds of thousands of people to view your channel on social media within hours but promise me Jesus and His kingdom will never appear on your social media handles.  


Many times we are caught inbetween and we had to make a choice to take one out of the two. It looks so simple yet so difficult 


If you say no you will have to route success Jesus way which means going through death (the cross) to get it


What that means is you may have to suffer while others seem to be making it faster and cry while others are laughing, John 16:20-23


What that means is that success may not happen overnight for you and you may be denied many times but Jesus will always come through for you, 1Peter 5:10


But when Jesus finally comes through for you, whatever He gives you will carry the mark of the cross on it which is the mark of life and power, 2Corinthians 4:10-12.


Your Gold will be that tried in fire. Your sight will be clear because they have been washed with eye salve and you will not be naked because you are clothed indeed not with cobwebs, Revelations 3:18.


What that means is you went through death to get it or become it and you were brought back to life by the power of His resurrection, 1Corinthians 15:30-32.


I have not gotten to the core of this message but I have to take time to lay this foundation for us because I sense many people are in that valley of decision right now and they don't know which way to go, Joel 3:14. 


Light is coming to you right now from.this message, you will know which way to go in Jesus name, Isaiah 30:21-23.


How does Abraham encounter with king of Sodom applied to you now as a new testament believer?


Galatians 3:29 says, "And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise".


The bible says "Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called. That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed, Romans 9:7&8. 


You are a partaker of Abraham's blessing of possessor of heaven and earth because you are children of promise, Hebrews11:17-19.


If this is not enough revelation to convince you I have another one. 


The bible says as Jesus is so are we in this world, 1John 4:17b. Another one says if he calls them God to whom the Word of God came and scriptures cannot be broken,  John 10:34-36


Another one says that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith, Galatians 3:14.


Romans 8:17 says, “Now if we are children, then we are heirs, heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory


When the revelation of possessor of heaven and earth entered Abraham, he gave a tithes of all (everything) to king of Salem, Genesis 14:20


Tithing was no longer an issue beause now he knew something. Giving Gid anything at all was no longer a problem because he is now armed with a revelation, Genesis 22:2&3.


Unlike Abraham, the brother of the prodigal son didnt catch this revelation. When he saw how lavish a party was thrown by his father to welcome his lost brother, he became angry, Luke 15:25-30.


But the father told him, "You are ever with me and all that I have is yours", Luke 15:31. Apostle Paul said the same thing, all things are yours, and ye are Christ's and Christ is God's, 1Corinthians 3:21-23. 


Do you truly believe it or they are just bible verses to you? Philemon 6. If you do, it will show in the way you respond to life and to things.


I pray for you, may that same revelation of possessor of heaven and earth entered you in Jesus name. May you truly know that all things are yours in Jesus name.

Anything short of you being born again and living a life of holiness and purity hurt Jesus so much. But you can make things right here and now by saying this simple prayer and mean it genuinely from your heart:


 Lord Jesus I come to you today. I acknowledge that I am a sinner and I cannot help myself. I repent of all my sins and I forsake them. Jesus, I invite you into my life, be my Lord, be my Saviour. 


Wash me by your precious blood, forgive my sins and write my name in the book of life. From this day, I promise to follow you all the rest of my life. Help me Lord, in Jesus name, Amen. Congratulations you are now born again!

SPIRITUALLY AMBITIOUS OR A GOD SEEKER? PSALM 24:6 Just as one can be ambitious physically, one can also be ambitious spiritually too.  Sometime ago, I listened to a preacher and he mentioned the number of hours he spent praying and I was challenged.  Right in that meeting I made up my mind to jack up my prayer life and I set it as a goal.
