PART 2

Psalm 91:14

When Apostle Paul saw JESUS in His glory, all his past, present and future achievements became to him like dung by reason of a glory that excels.

He threw them away in an instant. He said those things that were gain to me, I now counted loss that I may gain him, Phillipians 3:7-8, Jeremiah 9:23-24.

JESUS is worth losing and selling everything for if you will have only Him in exchange. He is really all you need, Matthew 13:44-46.

If you can lay hold on JESUS, you have laid hold on every other thing, influence, the heart of men, wealth, health and all.

In him all things consist. All things were made by Him and for Him, Colossians 1:16&17.

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding, Provebs 9:10.

The reason why many of us are afraid is because we don't have enough of His words laid up in our heart, Psalm 119:105. We are rich in other things but poor in the Word of God.

Therefore, we have no defence against the fear that the devil is bringing across our ways Ephesians 6:16.

The effect is that every attack of fear from the devil, causes us to jump and respond, we call it being careful and making good plans, Isaiah 29:15&16

When you respond to God and His word, the resultant effect is peace and rest not jumping aroumd and scheming things, Isaiah 32:17&18.

You call it plan because that is what the devil coated it with and called it for you. You say you are making plans for your life and future which is good but not by leaving God out of the whole process or just carrying Him along as only informing Him.

Isaiah 29:15 says, "Woe to those who deeply hide their plans from the LORD, And whose deeds are done in a dark place, And they say, "Who sees us?" or "Who knows us?"

But then the Lord tells you all the plans you have put your trust in are death in disguise.

He said the flood will carry away the refuge of lies and stronghold you call plan that you put your trust in, Isaiah 28:15.

He said I have laid a stone in Zion, a sure foundation, a corner stone, he that beleiveth in Him will not be troubled or disturbed, he will have rest all round about, Isaiah 28:16.

All the haste you are making about your life and future is because you don't believe in Him or trust His promises, 2Peter 1:3&4, Ephesians 1:3.

Yet those promises of God are Yes and Amen in Jesus, 2Corinthians 1:20.

There are things that God never show those people who has not made Him their delight and set their love on God, Psalm 25:12-14.

Psalm 91:14 says because he has set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him. I will set him on high because he has known my name.

God promises His lovers deliverance and being set on high above their enemies even above all the nations of the earth just because they have set their love upon Him

There were crowds around Jesus always, yet He chose to reveal the mysteries of the kingdom to only a chosen few because He knows their heart already belong to Him, John 2:23-25, Matthew 13:10&11.

Cheap answers and victories come to those that love God and wait for His promises, those that have made Him their delight, Psalm 25:12, Psalm 37:4-5

Friendliness with the world is enmity with God, you can't love the world and love God at the same time, John 4:4.

Once you begin to love the world it automatically translates to enmity with God, 2Corinthians 6:14-18.

Psalm 45:7 says, because thou has loved righteousness and hated iniquity I will anoint you with the oil of gladness anove your fellows.

When you chose to love righteousness and hate wickedness, the resultant effect is that satan and the world hates you and tries to take away good things from you, Daniel 3:16-23..

He will never let it reach you. God knows this and gave you His promise in Psalm 45:7, specially for you that will keep you above your fellows all the time, it is called the oil of gladness. It's work is to set you above your fellows.

How do you know you have set your love upon the Lord? It is not by saying Lord I love you, neither is it by crying or rolling on the floor and getting all emotional.

It is when you obey Him and keep His commandments, John 14:21. It is when you chose to love your fellow human beings, 1John4:20.

It is when you choose to wait for Him to bring His promises to pass His own way and time, Jeremiah 17:7&8, Isaiah 30:18. It is when you choose not to serve any other gods beside Him, Isaiah 30:22&23.

When we chose to do this we truly love Him and He pours out His jealousy over us and stand by His promises to make sure it comes to pasd in our lives, Isaiah 30:22&23, Isaiah 64:4, Isaiah 30:18&19, Hebrews 11:15&16, Isaiah 25:9&10, Jetemiah 17:7-8.

Apostle Paul says.when we are at home in the body that is our flesh we are away from the Lord but when we are at home with the Lord we are away from the body, 2Corinthians 5:6-9.

The flesh and the spirit lusteth one against another, Galatians 5:17. He that sows to the flesh will of the flesh reap corruption but he that sows to the spirit will of the Spirit reap eternal life, Galatians 6:8..

I am a living proof that spending quality time with God pays.

If God knows you will use it for Him and it will not take you away from Him, He will give you things, material goods even money beyond your wildest imagination.

Everything you are looking for there is God's way of getting them that is laid up in the bible.

Delight yourself in the Lord and He will grant you the desires of your heart. He said acquaint now thyself with Me and be at peace thereby good will come unto you, Job 22:21

He said when you delight in Him and lay his words in your heart, you will lay up gold as dust and golds of ophar as the stones of brooks and you will have plenty silver, Job 22:22-30.

That is the bible teaching you how to be rich. If the Lord can have your heart there is nothing He can't give you.

Look up to Abraham your father and unto Sarah that bare you. For I called him alone and blessed him and increased him, Isaiah 51:2

Every moment in the presence of the Lord is a moment of encounter through message, a meeting, a book, you must treat it as such by intentionally receiving the Word the Lord sent to you as a seed and plant it in your heart.

Every time you come into the presence of the Lord through a book, a message or a meeting, know that it is time to go from strength to strength, grace to grace, faith to faith and shine brighter and brighter.

This is what happens to you everytime you come to the Word of God through any means.

This write-up has come to introduce to you, "Making God your delight by setting your love upon Him", you must take that seed and deliberately sow it into your life.

Every message is meant to give you or deliver something to you that you must intentionally receive and plant in your heart.

I pray for you that the spirit of this message will enter you and transform you in Jesus name. The grace to make the Lord your delight rest upon youright now in Jesus name.

Anything short of you being born again and living a life of holiness and purity hurt Jesus so much. But you can make things right here and now by saying this simple prayer and mean it genuinely from your heart:

Lord Jesus I come to you today. I acknowledge that I am a sinner and I cannot help myself. I repent of all my sins and I forsake them. Jesus, I invite you into my life, be my Lord, be my Saviour.

Wash me by your precious blood, forgive my sins and write my name in the book of life. From this day, I promise to follow you all the rest of my life. Help me Lord, in Jesus name, Amen. Congratulations you are now born again!
