LIVING VICTORIOUSLY
PART 2
ROMANS 8:35-39
To be carnally minded is death but to be spiritually minded is eternal life and peace. A carnal mind is enmity against God cos it cannot perceive or understand Him, Romans 8:6-10
If you keep thinking carnally you have shut God out, but when you think by the Word of God, you have opened yourself to receive from him.
To be friendly with the world is to be at enmity with God, James 4:4. The two cannot go together.
You are spiritual to the degree that you think by the Word of God. Find a way of getting your mind to be on Him at all times, not only when you are doing your quiet time.
Don't allow your mind to just roam about carelessly, bring it back to the Word of God; for out of it flows the issues of life.
Be full of the Word not the World! So much so that if one carnal thought or imagination strays into your mind, 4 scriptures are already waiting to cast it down, 2Corinthians 10:5
Any high thing that wants to exalt itself against the knowledge of Christ in you you cast it down with 5 scriptures at least.
You are so high up there, to get you to come down to the earthly level becomes almost impossible for the devil.
What you don't know is that before the devil can fight you, he has to get you to derobe first and then come down from the throne you are seated upon, Ephesians 2:6
You have to come down to the earthly realm and become earthy (carnal minded) for him to fight you.
As long as you keep sitting on that throne (Scripture minded) by the right hand of God with your crown upon your head, your enemies remain your footstool forever, he can do nothing to you, Psalm 110:1
This is why the devil's greatest area of attack and battle is your mind, to get you to think thoughts that are not consistent with your positional reality in Christ.
We ascend or descend by our thoughts and consciousness. They are your fortification, they are how you remain seated or unseated in your place of authourity.
Hence, the warning to guard our heart with all diligence, for out of it proceed the issues of life.
How spiritual are your thoughts? How carnal are your thoughts? You are seated or unseated by your thoughts and our thoughts determine our strength.
Likewise, our consciousness determines what dominate and control us. If you are God conscious God will dominate and control you.
However, if you are fear conscious, you will be dominated and controlled by the devil and his entourage of unbelief, doubt, anxiety and worry.
Always ask yourself who is in charge here, my faith or my fear?
Your thoughts (consciousness) determine your spiritual realities whether you are seated with Christ or not, Hebrews 10:22.
You must begin to operate from that place of authority you must be so conscious of it, Hebrews 9:14.
Elisha was so conscious of the reality of the angels of God surrounding him and his house that the army surrounding the city of Samaria pales in significance before him, 2Kings 6:15-17.
He operated from the reality of the angels of God that surrounds him and that is where he lives from, derives his economy from, his experiences and reality comes from there, Psalm 34:7, 125:2,
It was so real and so true for him that when the entire nation of Samaria was besieged with famine he was exempted, 2Kings 6:32.
He doesn't live by that economy, he knows where his supply comes from. That economy is not what caters for his needs. His needs are catered for by heaven.
If he needs anything, he sends the angels not ask from the Govt of the day or the king of Samaria. He talks to God and God talks to men on his behalf to give him what he needs.
When he needed a place to sleep in his many journeyings, God talked to the great woman of shunem and provision was made for him in her house, 2Kings 4:8-10.
He didnt just take from the woman and gave nothing in return he became a great source of blessing to her and her entire household by sowing into her life what he carried, the power of God, 2Kings 4:16-17.
That is who you are!
You have talked to men long enough about your problems start talking to God and let Him speak to men on your behalf and watch in shock and wonder what will begin to happen to your life and destiny.
PRAYER: FATHER OPEN MY EYES TO SEE WHO I AM IN CHRIST AND PURGE MY CONSCIOUSNESS OF EVERY DEAD WORK THAT IS HOMDEEING ME FROM SERVING YOU WELL.

SALVATION PRAYER
Anything short of you being born again and living a life of holiness and purity hurt Jesus so much. But you can make things right here and now by saying this simple prayer and mean it genuinely from your heart:
Lord Jesus I come to you today. I acknowledge that I am a sinner and I cannot help myself. I repent of all my sins and I forsake them. Jesus, I invite you into my life, be my Lord, be my Saviour.
Wash me by your precious blood, forgive my sins and write my name in the book of life. From this day, I promise to follow you all the rest of my life. Help me Lord, in Jesus name, Amen. Congratulations you are now born again!
