FAITH WITHOUT WORKS

JAMES 2:14-26.




HAPPY NEW MONTH

As you go into the new month with the Words that the Lord has given to you either personally or in church, let the Words be your guide, Psalm 119:105. 


For every word we receive there must be a corresponding action from our part in bringing it to manifestation. 


God has done His part by giving us His word but we must do our part by asking for instructions that we need to carry out to bring the words to manifestation. 


The Bible says For as the body without the spirit is dead so faith without works is dead also, James 2:26. 


The word that we received from the Lord is the spirit component but the spirit needs a body to manifest in the physical and it is our duty to provide the body that it will manifest through. 


For some people their instruction will be to just be patient, for some it may be to wait, for others it may be talk to this person, go to this place, start this business, go back to school, stay away from this person, change your association e.t.c. 


it can be a business idea that just keep occuring to you. Our instructions will vary depending on what God has said to us.


Ask the Lord to show you the part you need to play to bring what He has said to pass. If the Lord has called this month your month of increase, ask Him to show you what you must do physically to bring the increase into manifestation. 


For the widow of one of the sons of prophet, she had to go about borrowing vessels and locked herself in pouring oil into those vessels, 2Kings4:1-7. 


Without that  action on her part, Elisha's words over her life would not have come to pass. 


Run with what God had said in one hand and your instructions on the other hand. 


It is your instructions from the Lord that will bring what God said to you to pass. 


It is not enough to just have Words from the Lord, you must have instructions that you are to carry out. 


I remembered a time I needed something and I went to meet the Lord and He said I should go and talk to someone about that need, that the person will give it to me. 


For two weeks I delayed because I didn't want to go and ask. I told God to lay it on the person's heart to give it to me but nothing of such happened. 


Then one day, during my quiet time I was studying the life of Elijah; how God asked him to go to Brook Cherry and then to the widow of Zarepath and ask; then the Lord spoke to me again and said if I didn't ask, the person will give it to someone else and it will not be His fault. 


The Lord had commanded the widow of Zarepath but Elijah needed to ask, 1Kings 17:9. If he  didn't ask nothing would have happened. 


So I  went to ask and I was given. The amazing part was that it was three things I had in mind when I went to the Lord. When I got to the person I asked for only one thing but the person gave me the three things I had in mind.


Thank God I didn't delay any further, because few days later something happened and those things would have been given to another person. 


God has done His part but I needed to do my part to see the manifestation of what God has done. 


I showed us this example to let us see how important it is for us to do our part before we can see any manifestation. 


Has God said you will heal the sick this month or this year, then you must be prepared to pray for the sick people He brings across your way. Your part is to pray for them. If you don't do your part, that word will not manifest. 


PRAYER:

The Bible says fools despise wisdom and instruction, Proverbs 1:7. I pray for you this year that you will not despise your instructions. Your instructions will come clear to you, you will know what to do and you will not labour the labour of fools in Jesus name.


Receive grace to carry out every instruction that God has given you this year and this new month in Jesus name. You will have outstanding results and your testimonies will abound in the name of Jesus.


SALVATION PRAYER


Anything short of you being born again and living a life of holiness and purity hurt Jesus so much. But you can make things right here and now by saying this simple prayer and mean it genuinely from your heart:


 Lord Jesus I come to you today. I acknowledge that I am a sinner and I cannot help myself. I repent of all my sins and I forsake them. Jesus, I invite you into my life, be my Lord, be my Saviour. 


Wash me by your precious blood, forgive my sins and write my name in the book of life. From this day, I promise to follow you all the rest of my life. Help me Lord, in Jesus name, Amen. Congratulations you are now born again!

YOU ALSO HATH HE CALLED 1 CORINTHIANS 3:6-9 Imagine how hard the work of Apostle Paul would have been in the life of Timothy if there had been no Louise and Eunice to prepare the ground for his coming.   May be instead of finding him in church, he would have had to pick him up among drug addicts somewhere in town. And the time he would have spent to first of all clean him up might not have allowed for God's calling to fully find expression in the life of Timothy because a mother and a grandmother failed in their assignment.  As far as God is concerned, the work that Timothy's mother and grandmother did in his life was as equally important as that of Apostle Paul.  When we talk of Timothy, Apostle Paul's spiritual son immediately comes to mind but we don't readily remember Louis and Eunice, his mother and grandmother. MASTER AND OVERCOME MOCKERY PART TWO ISAIAH 51:7-8 I remember when the Lord instructed me to start a WhatsApp group and be sharing messages on it, many people started commenting and leaving the group, infact they left in droves.  When I got to the office the following day, some of my colleagues who were also part of the group their first reaction was to laugh me to scorn.  Even one of those very close to me couldn't just stop laughing at me. They laughed so much at me and I looked so foolish to myself that I decided to cancel the group.  But the Lord said I should go and re-create the group again which I did.
