HOW STRONG IS YOUR VISION?

PART TWO

DEUTERONOMY 34:7

You are the first and the major contributor to your God given vision. It is your seriousness and committment that others will see that will draw them to come and join you.

You have never given enough of your time, attention, money, resources and materials to your vision yet you want everybody to join you in fulfiling it.

It doesn't work like that. Except a corn of wheat falls down to the ground and die it abideth alone but when it dies it bringeth forth much fruit, John 12:24.

The elders of Israel did not begin to bring their own contributions to build the temple until they saw how lavishly king David first gave to the building of the temple, 1Chronicles 29:4-8.

For some of us that claim to have vision nobody has ever seen us give lavishly to our own vision out of what we have personally.

How many things have you turned down in order to stay committed to your vision? If visa come today you will throw away the vision and go to America not caring about what effect it may have on your vision.

Your vision should compel you to turn things down which are not consistent with it or not going to contribute to the fulfilment of it.

Apostle Paul said for the love of Christ constrain us, 2Corinthians 5. What has been constraining you? Is your vision strong enough to constrain you to reject some offers and accept some?

What is really driving you? Vision or making money or living in comfort, having power, fame and influence?

Can your vision survive job loss, broken marriage, barrenness, stubborn child, riches and wealth, honour, great influence and fame? At what point will you trade your vision for these things?

A point came in the life of this great Apostle that he said woe is him if he didn't preach the gospel, 1Corinthians 9:16. For him it is no longer about the rewards again but a matter of love and duty.

Jesus turned down food when He saw the harvest coming from the city of Samaria. He said I have a meat that you know nothing of. He said my meat is to do my Father's will and to finish it.

For some their meat is anything that brings comfort and convenience or making money not the vision so at the first appearance of money and comfort they throw the vision away.

Job said I have esteemed your commandment more than my necessary food, Job 23:12. Many of us have been trying our vision to see if it will work, not knowing that our vision is also trying us to see whether we are worthy of it.

Psalm 105:19 says the Word of God tried Joseph until his Word came. Joseph's vision tried him  in the pit, tried him again in Potiphar's house  and again in the prison before it finally spoke.

Thank God Joseph's vision was stronger than the pit, stronger than the temptation in Potiphar's house. His vision survived the prison and finally brought him to the palace.

David's vision tried him in the bush, again it tried him in the cave of Adullam and found that he was worthy of it and then it spake in the palace.

May be the exact opposite of what God spoke to you about is what you are experiencing right now, could it be that the vision God gave you is trying you? May you have stamina to pass the test in Jesus name.

Your vision will try you first whether you will work before it will begin to speak. There is nothing wrong with your vision if it is God that gave you but something can be wrong with the carrier of the vision, he may not be worthy of the vision, Matthew 10:37-39.

I remember Apostle Arome said at some time in the beginning of his ministry he had two trousers and one was stolen and he asked himself what would happen if the other one was stolen too and he answered, that he would wear kaftan and go and preach.

That is how strong the vision was to him, lack and wants could not stop it, he found a way around them to still press into his vision. Whether he is abounding or abased, it doesn't affect the vision, Phillipians 4:12.

If you don't stay close to the ark you won't be able to fulfil your vision, the closer you stay to the ark the clearer your vision gets and the more strength you have to fulfil it.

If you notice that your vision suddenly gets dim and you suddenly become weak in pursuing it, it is because you have drawn away from His presence(the ark).

I pray for you that this message will revive the passion to keep pursuing  your vision in Jesus name.

Pray and ask God to guard you with strength and stability and to help you keep your focus sharp on the vision He has given you. If you don't have a vision yet, ask God to give you one.

Salvation is found in none else, for there is no name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved, except the name of Jesus.

You may be reading this post and you have not yet given your life to Jesus. This is another opportunity for you to make that decision for Jesus by saying this prayer and mean it genuinely from your heart:

Lord Jesus, I love You with all my heart. I believe that You are the Son of God that died and shed His blood for my sins. Today, I receive Your life and I declare that I am Yours. Congratulations you are now born again.

SALVATION PRAYER

Anything short of you being born again and living a life of holiness and purity hurt Jesus so much. But you can make things right here and now by saying this simple prayer and mean it genuinely from your heart:

Lord Jesus I come to you today. I acknowledge that I am a sinner and I cannot help myself. I repent of all my sins and I forsake them. Jesus, I invite you into my life, be my Lord, be my Saviour.

Wash me by your precious blood, forgive my sins and write my name in the book of life. From this day, I promise to follow you all the rest of my life. Help me Lord, in Jesus name, Amen. Congratulations you are now born again!

PEACE
