BENEFITS OF STAYING SPIRITUALLY ALIVE
Colossians 4:4, Ephesians 6:20
Staying spiritual alive requires a lot of sacrifice.
Not a day must pass without you doing one spiritual excercise or the other. Sometimes, it is multiple spiritual excercises.
As you are finishing one you are entering into another. Being spiritual requires real sacrifices on a daily basis to ensure that your lamp always have oil, Matthew 25:1-13.
It is like charging a battery. Your Spirit is that battery and it must be charged from time to time to stay on top of the flesh and to keep the flesh perpetually suppressed.
It is very very possible for one's spirit to be dead. Your Spirit is like a battery, it can be dead, low, half full, three quarter full, very full and overflowing.
This understanding will help your spiritual excercises not to be a boring routine but something done with under standing and you can establish the flexibility needed to stay abreast.
Now you know why you must pray before you lead prayer meeting, preach or pray for the sick, it is to get your spirit in the right shape, Ephesians 6:20
Sometimes the battery alternator has gathered scum and it must be cleaned and sharpened again such that at the slightest touch it fires the engine again.
When you spiritual batteries are full our, responses to evil become spontaneous and instant and sharp, Colossians 4:4.
Getting the right counsel comes easy, faith comes easy, fear is driven far back.
As long as we are in this earthly body our spirit will always need charging, 2Corinthians 5:8.
Because we are living in an environment that makes a lot of demand on our spirit for its survival.
Our environment suck out a lot of power from our spirit for our soul and body stability and survival, Proverbs 18:14.
Your Spirit is like car battery. When your car is packed, demand is still being made on the battery by the other parts of the body, Matthew 4:4.
Until you disconnect the alternator from the battery that is the only time the battery is completely out of use.
The energy by which you live out each day without packing up physically comes from your spirit.
Even when you are sleeping your spirit is still at work, dreaming and going to the realms of the spirit, in active use.
So, everyday of your life is sustained by the energy that comes from your spirit, Proverbs 17:22.
As you are walking or eating, driving or working, there are arrows flying around, that it is the energy emanating from your spirit man that is warding them off from getting to you, Psalms 91:5-6
Even when you are quietly sitting down or sleeping, your name, documents and affairs are being discussed somewhere else, that you don't know of.
Plans are being made somewhere else that can affect you, but your spirit power is there at work to ensure that things are decided in your favour.
Someone is removing your name from the list of those to be promoted and another one is adding it back. And it happened like that 3 times.
What do you think is at play there? Raw spiritual power is what is at work!
You are not there physically, yet something like a force or power is still there working things out for you. It is the presence of the Lord ensuring things are decided in yoir favour.
What you call life is an interplay of spiritual forces working for or against individuals or communities or nations, Job 5:19
And the good thing is that, the spirit force that you have generated through prayer does not only work for and protect only you again but a whole community.
The light coming from your life can be strong enough to keep evil away from a whole community.
Anania's prayer life secured Damascus and Paul could not enter the city to persecute the christians there.
Your spiritual energy can deliver and save people.
Something is constantly flowing out of people either good or bad everytime and everyone has a magnetic field of spiritual forces that they carry around.
This spiritual magnetic field either attract or repeal good or evil from and into their lives.
There are real clouds over people's life and it is not a lie and this has everything to do with the condition of their spiritual life.
PRAYER: FATHER POUR UPON ME THE GRACE I NEED TO STAY SPIRITUALLY ALIVE ON A DAILY BASIS IN JESUS NAME.

Anything short of you being born again and living a life of holiness and purity hurt Jesus so much. But you can make things right here and now by saying this simple prayer and mean it genuinely from your heart:
Lord Jesus I come to you today. I acknowledge that I am a sinner and I cannot help myself. I repent of all my sins and I forsake them. Jesus, I invite you into my life, be my Lord, be my Saviour.
Wash me by your precious blood, forgive my sins and write my name in the book of life. From this day, I promise to follow you all the rest of my life. Help me Lord, in Jesus name, Amen. Congratulations you are now born again!
