PRAYER DYNAMICS

Ephesians 6:18



Prayer is not the same everytime. 

Even though your tongues may be the same, it is not the same thing you are saying everytime. 

Neither is it the same thing that is being accomplished or done by that tongues.

When prayer is fellowship, there is an active participation of two personalities, God and man. 

Prayer and bible study for many people is only the active participation of one person but the other person is a passive or silent observer. 

There are times when the summon will be a call to fellowship, at other times it will be a summon to warfare or intercession. 

There is a time when prayer is fellowship. At another time it is intercession, sometimes it is thanksgiving, or supplication, or warfare or birthing forth.

Not all kinds of prayer is a dialogue. There are prayers that deals with things or issues, no dialogue is involved at all. 

There are prayers that are majorly decrees and prophetic declarations, tearing down and building up and shaping things in the spirit realm, Isaiah 43:26, Job 22:28.

So, it is not every time you pray that you will hear God speak back to you because that prayer is not fellowship.

It could be just intercession or warfare, settling things in the spirit realm. 

It could sometimes be more of having an experience with God rather than a dialogue as in the case of vision or trance.

Sometimes prayer is the birthing forth of God's plan and purposes. You can literarilly know the Holy Spirit has taken over the prayer from you, Romans 8:26

This kind of prayer comes with groaning many times, a travailing in the spirit, Isaiah 66:7-8, John 16:21.

When the Holy Spirit is doing something through you, He may just be using your body to do His work, your participation is minimal, Luke 1:11-20.

 So, He is not really talking to you like that, only doing something through you. 

Prayer is not the same everytime and you must be sensitive to know what kind of prayer you are praying each time so as to flow with the Holy Spirit. 

There are prayers that it is only yoir heart praying fervently, sometimes it is yoir tears while your lip is silent. 

Not because you don't want to say something but because you dont have words to express your heart, Hebrews 5:7

There are prayers that you pray in understanding, prayers that involve legislating and binding and casting. These kinds of prayer are done majorly in understanding.

There are prayers that are done majorly in tongues because it is God you are speaking to, not things or demons, 1Corinthians 14:2.

If you want to keep burning, let your lamp always be filled with oil. Go to them that sell and buy, Matthew 25:1-13

If you want to burn continually stay close to someone that is always burning, Proverbs 27:17.

If you take a hot coal and put it on top of an ice, the coal will lose its hotness and become cold.

However, the ice will not catch fire or become hot, it will only melt. It is iron sharpeneth iron, so a friend sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.  

To stay fit everyday you must excercise everyday, Hebrews 3:13. The spiritual excercises of yesterday will not be sufficient for today. It is a daily thing, Daniel 11:31.

It is the things that you do daily that helps you to stay on fire everyday. 

Sometimes, you don't feel like doing anything spiritual but you have to force yourself to keep shinning and burning. 

It takes real grace to stay at a thing for so long and be excelling at it. 

It is anti human nature to be doing just one thing repeatedly over the years. 

You want to be on fire everyday, you must excercise your spirit everyday. 


PRAYER: FATHER HELP ME TO KEEP BURNING AND SHINING FOR YOU ALL THE DAYS OF MY LIFE. I RECEIVEFTESH FIRE UPON MY SPIRITUAL LIFE IN JESUS NAME.

Anything short of you being born again and living a life of holiness and purity hurt Jesus so much. But you can make things right here and now by saying this simple prayer and mean it genuinely from your heart:


 Lord Jesus I come to you today. I acknowledge that I am a sinner and I cannot help myself. I repent of all my sins and I forsake them. Jesus, I invite you into my life, be my Lord, be my Saviour. 


Wash me by your precious blood, forgive my sins and write my name in the book of life. From this day, I promise to follow you all the rest of my life. Help me Lord, in Jesus name, Amen. Congratulations you are now born again!

CHANGE FOCUS One major winning strategy is to keep your focus on what God is doing and not on what God is yet to do.  The devil is very adept at making people focus their attention either on what he is doing in their lives or on what God is not doing for them  This is the reason for sadness and depression.
