THE DANGER OF UNFORGIVENESS

Mark 11:25-26



When you have laboured in a place or over a people, one good way the devil comes to steal your harvest with your coperation is through unforgiveness. 


So, you must be very careful to guard yourself against unforgiveness. Offences cost John the baptiat his head.  


Some of us are not offended at men but at God, because of unmet expectations. Jesus says blessed is he who is not offended in me, Matthew 11:6


While forgiveness is a prison opener and jail breaker, unforgiveness is a prison keeper and a jail locker. 


The bible says until you pay the last penny you wont come out, Matthew 5:26. Unforgiveness is a waster. Don't allow offences cast you into prison and take off your head. 


With this understanding you have, it will be easier to practice forgiveness and even give it ahead of being offended. 


Who must you forgive for God to turn your captivity around? 


Who must you pray for for the Lord to command His blessings over your life? Job 42:10


You have been praying for destiny helpers but have you considered praying for those that despitefully use you? Matthew 5:44


These things are mysteries and mysteries are what we don't understand (unless unravelled) how they work but they work all the same. 


A virgin conceiving is a mystery until it was unravelled scripturally. 


When God stepped in for Abraham against two kings that were stronger than him and had just taken his wife, his instruction was to pray for one of the two kings and his household, Genesis 20:7


What followed after were blessings not withdrawal of what had been earlier given to him and he was sent his way. 


They began to fear him because they knew he was a man God is with and fighting for. 


Even when God has vindicated us some of us still continue to hold those that offended us as well as their relatives in unforgiveness. 


You don't need that, you are only shooting yourself in the leg by ensuring that your captivity continues, Proverbs 24:17


Be careful not to engage in anything that can close the door of the supernatural over your life and make you labour and fight unassisted by the realm of the spirit. 


One of such things is unforgiveness. 


What are those things that when you engage in, opens the door of the divine supernatural over your life? Have you found them? 


Find them and keep doing them diligently, it is wisdom! People may call you stipid or foolish but keep at it. 


You see when you labour physically but unassisted by God, there are no gurantees.  


But when you labour with divine backing and assiatance, the bible says upon all the glory shall be a defence, Isaiah 4:5. 


The bible talks about two kinds of land in Deuteronomy 11. 


One land upon which you sow your seed, you have to water it with thy foot(toilsome labour), Deuteronomy 11:10


But there is also another land whivh drinketh water of the rain of heaven and the eyes of the Lord is always upon it from the beginning of the year even unto the end, Deuteronomy 11:11-12


Unforgiveness closes the door of the divine supernatural against anyone that engages in it but forgiveness opens the door of the divine supernatural over your life. 


Which will it be? May the Lord grant us wisdom.


ACTION POINT: BEGIN TO DELIBERATELY RELEASE ANYONE YOU HAVE HELD IN UNFORGIVENESS FROM YIUR HEART AND ASK THE LORD FOR MERCY


SALVATION PRAYER


Anything short of you being born again and living a life of holiness and purity hurt Jesus so much. But you can make things right here and now by saying this simple prayer and mean it genuinely from your heart:


 Lord Jesus I come to you today. I acknowledge that I am a sinner and I cannot help myself. I repent of all my sins and I forsake them. Jesus, I invite you into my life, be my Lord, be my Saviour. 


Wash me by your precious blood, forgive my sins and write my name in the book of life. From this day, I promise to follow you all the rest of my life. Help me Lord, in Jesus name, Amen. Congratulations you are now born again!

SPIRITUALLY AMBITIOUS OR A GOD SEEKER? PSALM 24:6 Just as one can be ambitious physically, one can also be ambitious spiritually too.  Sometime ago, I listened to a preacher and he mentioned the number of hours he spent praying and I was challenged.  Right in that meeting I made up my mind to jack up my prayer life and I set it as a goal. Immediately after I left the place I began to work at my new goal and was I able to meet up my new goal?
