UNDERSTANDING SEASONAL DEALINGS OF GOD

Exodus 6:3, Hebrews 1:1&2



You can't change God's dealings in your life. You can only conform to it. 


And how you conform is by looking for those people who has been through similar dealings from God to strengthen you in it. 


What we do many times is that we want to change that dealing to look like other people's so that perpetually we can keep those people in our lives. 


We practically want every of God's dealings in our lives to look like their own and when it does not we try to disalign or change it. 


Nothing can be done against the truth but for the truth. You can only align or conform to that dealing and not fight it otherwise you won't become. 


This doesn't mean those people backslided or anything they just don't represent the dealings of God in your life in that season. 


If you don't understand this you will never be able to fulfil destiny, you will be strong today and weak tomorrow. Run very fast today and then crawl tomorrow. 


The secret to being strong, stable and steady at all times is what I am telling you. 


You really can't have a permanent model because God is not making photocopies he is creating a new man that has part of every other man in himself. 


He doesn't look like the father or the mother, he is someone new that has some of the genes of the father in him and some of the genes of the mother in him. 


He is not his father neither is he his mother. 


Unfortunately we glory in looking exactly like another especially if they are popular powerful and influential. 


Sometimes what God is creating is a new man, not a replica of the old. 


There are no permanent models, just seasonal models until God say so and this is not true for everybody. 


This doesn't mean you shouldn't not honour and respect those that God had used for you because without them there would not have been this new man called you. 


You carry their genes they made you who you are by giving of themselves to you. 


Unfortunately the very thing that gave you life can also kill you if you don't know when it is enough. 


That God is no longer speaking to you through them in a particular season doesn't mean they can't bless you again. 


You may find out that 5 or 10 seasons later God brought you back to them again to learn yet another thing. 


And they are the very person that epitomize the dealing of God with you in that season. 


If you because God was no longer speaking through them in some season despise them, you are in for a shock because you may not find the much needed strength and courage to survive that current season of your life. 


Your map or curriculum is not any man of God, it is what God has said concerning you, that is what should guide your choice of who to listen to per time. 


Because the person that made you strong in one season can actually make you weak in another. 


Not because he is bad or has lost relevance, but for you in that current season, he is not relevant. 


One of your major asset on this journey is humility not anointing. It is the humble that God gives grace to and exalt.


Never fight or despise any man of God because He is not relevant in your life at a particular season. He may be the very thing you need to survive the next season. 


This is especially true when you are being mentored from afar. It may not necessarily be true for one on one mentoring. 


Above all, know God and know your purpose, don't know a man of God more than you know the God of the man. 


If Hezekiah had known.only Isaiah and not the God of Isaiah he would have died. 


After  Isaiah delivered God's message, Hezekiah turned his face to the God of Isaiah who is also his God and God sent Isaiah back with a new message for Hezekiah. 


Don't know God and despise His servant because there are things God may not do for you directly but He will do because of His servant. 


Safety is in walking in the balance of these two knowledge.


PRAYER: FATHER, HELP ME TO UNDERSTAND YOUR DEALINGS IN MY LIFE SEASON BY SEASON AND GIVE ME THE GRACE TO ALWAYS ALIGN WITH THEM IN JESUS NAME. 


SALVATION PRAYER


Anything short of you being born again and living a life of holiness and purity hurt Jesus so much. But you can make things right here and now by saying this simple prayer and mean it genuinely from your heart:


 Lord Jesus I come to you today. I acknowledge that I am a sinner and I cannot help myself. I repent of all my sins and I forsake them. Jesus, I invite you into my life, be my Lord, be my Saviour. 


Wash me by your precious blood, forgive my sins and write my name in the book of life. From this day, I promise to follow you all the rest of my life. Help me Lord, in Jesus name, Amen. Congratulations you are now born again!

GAINING MASTERY OVER CHANGES IN TIMES AND SEASONS Genesis 8:22 Spiritual seasons comes to an end as well as Natural seasons. One thing you must learn early in your walk with God is flexibility. Flexibility and alignment goes hand in hand. This is why......
