LABOUR WITH GRACE

1Corinthians 15:10

You have to work things for things to work. Things don't work on their own. Even the Bible says you should work out YOUR OWN salvation with fear and trembling, Phillipians 2:12.

That tells me salvation is not automatic but something that is worked out. There is a labour dimension to every form of salvation, Read Romams 10:9 and Jude 3 for better understanding.

Somewhere else the bible says, To GIVE DILIGENCE to make our calling and election sure, 2Peter 1:10 and to make a full proof of our ministry, 2Timothy 4:5.

Sometimes you already have all the spiritual force that you need. You have mustered it in the place of prayer and fasting and Word study.

You have the anointing it takes to make things work but you are not deploying them because you are not doing anything. The labour dimension is missing.

When the Lord wanted to bring this ministry to the next level, He told me "If you put in the needed work by putting the messages across all the platforms I give you I will bring the people".

When I began to take the ministry more seriously like a business, things began to change.

Before, I used to see it as something I do aside, like a side thing; so I was asking God to show me what to do to be blessed outside the ministry.

But the Lord showed me the ministry again and again and told me the approach I was giving it was why it is not blessing me.

Then I changed my approach, I became business like in my approach. I started doing it as if I was doing a 9-5 job, as if it is a shop I open by 8am and close by 6pm. As if it is all I do and nothing else.

When I did, things began to change and I realize all these while I already have the spiritual backing that I needed but I was not really bringing the body those spiritual forces need to manifest, James 2:26..

It is a diligent hand that shall be made fat, Proverbs 13:4.

Many are under working yet they desire greatness. It is the extra before ordinary that makes you extraordinary. It is that extra that makes for greatness.

Some are not underworking but they have a very wrong approach to what they are doing.

They are not giving it their all because they have their eyes somewhere else or on so many things.

So they spread themselves thin on so many things and end up not giving any of those things enough attention it needs to make them shine it.

The bible says if then your eye be single your whole body shall be full of light, Matthew 6:22. You can't be doing so many things and expect to be a master in all.

Except a corn of wheat falls down to the ground and dies it abideth alone but when it dies it bringeth much fruit, John 12:24.

What is in your hand is enough to change your life and bless you if you will change your approach towards it and stop underworking. Rather, work it out

To the faithful God shows himself faithful, 2Samuel 22:26. Many people are underworking yet they are asking God to send help. It doesn't work that way! God is a working God, John 5:17.

Help only comes when you have given your best doing the work at hand; until then you really don't need anybody to help you do anything.

God is a just God; not a scammer. You must go all the way first before others will help you the rest of the way.

In buiding the temple the man that God gave the vision for the temple(King David) gave more than everyone else; 1Chronicles 29:2-5.

Until David had given his best, he didn't ask who then is willing to consecrate his service this day unto the Lord? 1Chronicles 29:5.

When the people saw his dedication, his consecration and committment, they all began to give willingly, 1Chronicles 29:6-9.

For some they are working very hard but it is in a wrong direction or thing, they are working outside God's will so they worked and worked very hard but no help is coming their way until they wear themselves out.

The formular is first find what God wants you to do and then do it with all your might. Don't turn it the other way round!

Isaiah 29:16 says, "Surely your turning of things upside down shall be esteemed as the potter's clay, for shall the work say of him that made it, He made me not? Or shall the thing that is framed say of Him that framed it he had no understanding?.

Now you will pray and ask God to show you where you may be missing it. Is it that your approach to what you are doing is wrong or you are underworking.

Yours could be that you are labouring outside the will of God or in a wrong direction.

With genuine cry from your heart ask the Lord to show you where you are missing it in the equation of destiny happening for you! He answers when we call upon him sincerely and in truth, so pray.

SALVATION PRAYER

Anything short of you being born again and living a life of holiness and purity hurt Jesus so much. But you can make things right here and now by saying this simple prayer and mean it genuinely from your heart:

Lord Jesus I come to you today. I acknowledge that I am a sinner and I cannot help myself. I repent of all my sins and I forsake them. Jesus, I invite you into my life, be my Lord, be my Saviour.

Wash me by your precious blood, forgive my sins and write my name in the book of life. From this day, I promise to follow you all the rest of my life. Help me Lord, in Jesus name, Amen. Congratulations you are now born again!
