THE PRICE FOR DESTINY FULFILLMENT

NECESSITY IS LAID UPON ME

1CORINTHIANS 9:16

Many have only served God at the realm of convenience, they never press beyond convenience to serve God; even though they keep asking for higher anointing, God keeps by passing them.

Now you know the reason, you are not passing the test of convenience, so you have been pegged at a spot.

You don't serve God at your terms, you serve Him at His terms. This is the difference between the ordinary servants of God and the bond servants of God, Deuteronomy 15:16-17.

There is a time at the start of your walk with God where you serve Him at your convenience but as you grow in your walk a time comes where you move into a realm where Apostle Paul called "NECESSITY IS LAID UPON ME", 1 Corinthians 9:16.

Jesus put it to Peter this way in John 21:18

Verily, verily, I say unto thee, When thou wast young, thou girdedst thyself, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry thee whither thou wouldest not.

At this stage you are serving not necessarily because it is easy and enjoyable or receiving anything from it but because it is what the Lord will have you do.

It is a realm where fulfilling destiny and serving God becomes a responsibilty not a leisure.

Until then God cannot depend or count on you or trust you with higher levels of the anointing.

At this stage your feelings no longer hinder the work, your emotions no longer hinder the work, your reputation no longer hinder the work, the opinion of others no longer hinder the work.

You do it whether you feel like it or not, whether it is convenient or not, whether people like it or not, whether there is result or not, you do it regardless of the opinion of others.

You are at your duty post whether you like it or not. When you move into this realm you are qualified to receive more from God.

We must be taught and shown that it is not everytime you will feel like going on with the work.

You will hit the stage of discouragement but will you move beyond it to do the work?

There are some people that only work when they are happy whereas there are some that are always working regardless of their feelings.

You can't use their performance at their duty post to discern what they are going through.

Happy or not, tired or not, circumstance good or not, situation bad or not, environment friendly or not they continue still.

They are like stones, they are set in their ways, situation has tried them but it couldn't stop the work. Circumstance has tried them but it couldnt change anything.

These are the kind of men God is looking for, making and can use for his work.

This doesnt mean that these men don't go through things like every other person or are not discouraged, tired or feel like giving up but they have mastered not allowing anything hinder the work.

It is called the making process of the man God uses. God subjects these men to different kinds of conditions and still expect the same result.

These men are stones, they have assumed a shape that situation amd circumstance, devil or men or economy cannot change, 1Peter 2:4&5.

It is called training.

For many of us God cannot guarantee that if anything happens to our marriage we will still love and serve Him.

If anything hapens to our business or spouse or children we will still preach ot sing or be at our duty post.

For some of you, if your phone or purse get lost, the work of God in your hand will suffer.

Not necessarily because you are using the phone to serve God but because of your emotions and the people of God can go hungry for days.

Everything that affects us affects the work, we only love and serve Him for as long as the condition is perfect.

Let me tell you what you are doing. You are marking your own script and disqualifying yourself for higher levels in God.

What if the unexpected happens? What if the marriage did not work out? What if the child never recovers? What if you lost the job or the business did not succeed?

Will you still love and serve Him? Are you a "faithful until" kind of person? Do you love Him more than "these"(results).

Read your Bible, not everytime that Apostle Paul preached that miracles, signs and wonders happened or was received with open arms, 2Corinthians 1:8-10, 1Thessalonians 2:2.

There were times they finished preaching and were thrown in Jail, sometimes they were shown the way out of the city. At other times they were beaten and taken for dead.

However, the following day after being beaten and taken for dead in Lystra, he went to Derbe. What a passion! What a committment! What a man!

That is the kind of tenacity that can birth greatness and lead to destiny fulfilment! He was just too unstoppable for the devil! Acts 14:19-20.

There is a way matured faith talks and it goes thus, "Our God whom we serve is able to deliver us and He will deliver us. But if not, be it known unto thee.....", Daniel 3:17&18.

Many of us stop at "....and He will deliver us" we have not mustered enough courage to say, 'but if not'.

Even though saying that looks like strong faith; but it is not. The strong in faith consider the other eventuality too and it is not lack of faith.

They are able to press beyond any eventualities to still love and serve God.

That way their faith is not overthrown by any eventuality, it remains steadfast through all kinds of condition, good or bad. They are stable, steadfast!

The Lord said concerning Eliakim the son of Hilkah that He would fasten him as a nail in a sure place and He will hang upon him all the glory of his father's house, Isaiah 22:23-24.

Can God say the same thing about you and I? Are we that reliable? Are we a bond servant.

PRAYER. Ask God to give you the grace to pay the price required to fulfil your destiny in Jesus name, Amen.

SALVATION PRAYER

Anything short of you being born again and living a life of holiness and purity hurt Jesus so much. But you can make things right here and now by saying this simple prayer and mean it genuinely from your heart:

Lord Jesus I come to you today. I acknowledge that I am a sinner and I cannot help myself. I repent of all my sins and I forsake them. Jesus, I invite you into my life, be my Lord, be my Saviour.

Wash me by your precious blood, forgive my sins and write my name in the book of life. From this day, I promise to follow you all the rest of my life. Help me Lord, in Jesus name, Amen. Congratulations you are now born again!
