I WILL STAND UPON MY WATCH (PART 2)  HABAKKUK  2:1 I will continue from where I stopped in my last post. We have discussed two out the three things we need to do before the year runs out. In less than 48 hrs we will be in year 2023 and it is very very important that we have a vision to run with. To this end I will be sharing with us today the last point which is:  3) INSTRUCTIONS : One of the beauty of walking with God is seeing what He says come to pass.  It makes our relationship with Him so REAL AND ENJOYABLE. Isaiah 42:9 says, "Behold the former things are come to pass and new things do I declare, before they spring forth I tell you of them".  Without instructions and Words from the Lord that you are running with you and I will not be able to assess very well our progress in our walk with God and in destiny fulfilment.  Walking with God is more than just going to church and carrying out church activities. If that is all you do it will be more or less like a weekly routine

I WILL STAND UPON MY WATCH Habakkuk 2:1 As the year is gradually rolling to an end, make the remaining days a time for personal retreat.  It is important that we retreat back into the presence of the Lord for three things 1) Thanksgiving 2) Assessment of the year 3) Instructions for the coming year THANKSGIVING: End of the year like this is a time of return. The Bible says in Isaiah 51:11 Therefore, the redeemed of the  Lord shall RETURN, and come with singing unto Zion and everlasting joy shall be upon their head, they shall obtain gladness and joy and sorrow and mourning shall flee away.  2020 has been a challenging year but inspite of everything that has happened, don't focus on what went wrong.  Focus on the goodness of the Lord, that you are alive and healthy is enough reason to be thankful.  It matters to God how we return at the turn of the year. Return with praise, a grateful heart, thanksgiving offering and spoils of war.  God doesn't work in the atmosphere of complain

CHRIST, THE REASON FOR THE SEASON ISAIAH 9:6 MERRY CHRISTMAS to us all. I wish everyone of us a wonderful celebration.  All thanks be to JESUS who has kept us from January till this very moment, I wouldn't have made it without Him, I don't know about you? Thank you JESUS, you have done all things well, you have crowned the year with goodness and I am not ashamed to declare it boldly before the world. Before the schools closed for the year, my daughter was asked to perform a role in the end of the year party.  A number of them were asked to represent a letter of the word CHRISTMAS and recite a short poem on what each letter stands for. She was chosen to be letter 'I'.  For many days before the day of presentation, she would recite the poem for me over and over again and ask me to listen to it.  Something really touched my heart in that poem each time she recited it for me.  She would say, "I am letter 'I', I stands for Israel, the land where He was born. SETTING THE LORD ALWAYS BEFORE YOU PSALM 16:8 Still on the Laws of atmosphere and what we need to do to maintain the right kind of atmosphere.   In my last post we examined 4 out of the five things we need to maintain the right kind of atmosphere. In this post, I will share with us the fifth point and the last point which is the testimonies of the LORD. David said, I have set the LORD always before me, because He is at my right hand I will not be moved, Psslm 16:8. You will not be moved only if you set the testimonies of the LORD before you at all times. When someone is at your right hand, it means he is closest to you. The testimonies of God's faithulfness in your life and around you must be very close to you at all times and it is something you will have to do deliberately.  They are a shield to protect you against the attacks of the devil.  Never let the devil steal your testimonies or that of others from you. Keep the testimonies.   It is when love is not in your heart that jea

MAINTAINING THE RIGHT ATMOSPHERE  ISAIAH 26:3 Let the peace of God be your umpire, Colossians 3:15. Who is an umpire? A person chosen to render a decision in a dispute; judge; arbiter. The promise of peace is what Jesus gave to us, "My peace I give unto you", you must watch and guard that peace closely, John 14:27. One proof that your heart is stayed on him is perfect peace, Isaiah 26:3. Let this peace of God be your judge or arbitrar in any decision making process.  Let peace settle it. Jesus is tge prince of peace. When He is in a place, peace is present.  Anytime the devil wants to strike he must first change your atmosphere to look like his own.  Always make sure that these 5 things are present in your atmosphere and environment, peace, joy, gratitude/thanksgiving, love.  Lack of gratitude is how the devil hardens our heart towards God and magnify our problems, situation, circumstances and challenges, 2Timothy3:1&2. If you can maintain these 5 things in any kind of si
