THE TESTIMONY

1Corinthians 10:11

There is a testimony God is seeking to bring out from your life that He can command a generation to listen to. 


There is a testimony that God seeks to derive from your life that He can command the next generation to look up to. 


For that testimony to come out, it matters how you walk your walk with God. 


Abraham was our example of faith and we are commanded to look up to him, Isaiah 51:1&2.


God is looking for an example of purity and chastity from your life that He can command the singles to look up to in the next generation. 


There is a devil out there that wants to mar that testimony like he marred the testimony of Dinah and Amnon and Reuben, 2Samuel 13, Genesis 34:1&2, Genesis 35:22


This is how your life will bring glory to His name and shame to the devil. And like Paul you can say and they glorified God in me, Galatians 1:24. 


Enoch became our example for walking with God by the way he walked with God, Genesis 5:24.


By the way you walk with God can God ask someone to look up to you? Can he command a generation to listen to you? 


God told the three disciples to hear Jesus on the mount of transfiguration because He was approved by God in all things, in obedience, in sufferings, in patience, in humility, in His intimacy with God, Matthew 17:5, Acts 2:22, Hebrews 5:8.


What testimony can God approve you of and command others to look up to you for? 


This is how our lives will bring glory to God by the kinds of testimonies coming from our lives. 


As a parent can God command your children to look up to you or He will have to look for a role model for them somewhere else? Genesis 18:19.


When you understand this you will know that every detail of your walk with God matters because it is the cumulative journey that will bring out that testimony. 


There is a testimony in every trial you faced, a testimony in the mistakes you made and got corrected for, a testimony in your failures and your strengths. 


Everything put together is meant for a generation to learn from. That is how the Bible was written. 


Your life becomes a written example for someone to learn from or emulate, 1Corinthians 10:11.


The Bible says the things that were written aforetime were written for our examples so that we through the comfort of scriptures might find hope, Romans 15:4.


The way you are living and following God walking with Him, can it be an example for someone? 


Your service, your committment to fellowship, your giving, your dedication is it worthy of emulation for a generation. 


Your walk with God is not an endless journey, it is to the end that God can derive a testimony that will bring glory to His name and compel a generation to seek and feel after him, Acts 17:27.


How much are you coperating with Him to bring out that testimony?


Every step in your journey is crucial to that testimony coming out and therefore must be taken seriously. 


The Bible did not leave out details of the life of David and Moses and Abraham. So also every detail of your walk with God matters in that overall testimony. 


That is the hope that someone needs, the lesson, the encouragement. 


When you understand this you will walk with God patiently through seasons and let Him be the one to bring you out of seasons, because you now know it will matter in the overall testimony, Isaiah 50:10&11.


For every phase of training you complete, is the encouragement, the strength, the courage and the hope that someone needs to make it in his own journey. 


When you understand this, then it matters how you enter and end seasons in your life because it is somebody's lifeline. 


At the same time for every season you failed to complete or took yourself out from is the example satan is looking for to weary someone on the journey. 


When you understand this you and i will cry for grace so that Christ truly may be glorified in and through our lives. 


Because of the so many people God will be commanding to look up to you, He is being very thorough with you now. 


Making sure you attend every class and finish every training before you go on to the next. 


It may look very slow, infact too slow but it will be well worth it when you see how much testimony and glory is coming out of your life unto God because you are a vessel that God thoroughly took His time to build. I hope this blesses you? Now let us pray. 


PRAYER: FATHER THE TESTIMONY YOU SEEK TO DERIVE FROM MY LIFE GIVE ME GRACE TO BE ABLE TO ENDURE THE TRAINING THAT WILL BRING IT IN JESUS NAME. HELP ME TO ALWAYS COPERATE WITH YOU TO THE END SO THAT I WILL BE ALL THAT YOU WANT ME TO BE.

Anything short of you being born again and living a life of holiness and purity hurt Jesus so much. But you can make things right here and now by saying this simple prayer and mean it genuinely from your heart:


 Lord Jesus I come to you today. I acknowledge that I am a sinner and I cannot help myself. I repent of all my sins and I forsake them. Jesus, I invite you into my life, be my Lord, be my Saviour. 


Wash me by your precious blood, forgive my sins and write my name in the book of life. From this day, I promise to follow you all the rest of my life. Help me Lord, in Jesus name, Amen. Congratulations you are now born again!

SPIRITUALLY AMBITIOUS OR A GOD SEEKER? PSALM 24:6 Just as one can be ambitious physically, one can also be ambitious spiritually too.  Sometime ago, I listened to a preacher and he mentioned the number of hours he spent praying and I was challenged.  Right in that meeting I made up my mind to jack up my prayer life and I set it as a goal. Immediately after I left the place I began to work at my new goal and was I able to meet up my new goal?
