PAYING THE PRICE

(A Prophetic Word)

Psalm 105:17-22, Matthew 20:26-28



It is important that I notify us ahead that this message is written in first person conversation. 


What this implies is that as you are reading, it will look like the Lord is speaking to you directly not through a third party.


Greatness is inherent in every human being, that is every human being is born to be great but not everybody can pay the price, Psalm 82:6&7.


Greatness is like a spirit, it comes to you and if it sees you are not ready to work with its terms it leaves, Deuteronomy 28:1&2. The spirit of greatness is the spirit of service, Mathew 20:26-28.


There is nobody greatness does not come to at one point in their life or the other but it leaves when the begin to complain that the price are too high. They want it at their terms not at its terms, Isaiah 26:17&18, Psalm 78:67&68, 1Samuel 16:7


Greatness is like a circle that you are brought into when you pay the price. 


There is something called the circle of the great. When you pay the price you will be brought in, Ezekiel 20:37.


I know you are tired and very weak, it is as if you can't push further again but you won't break you will only expand, Matthew 13:44-46.


Greatness stretches you because it does not come at your terms but at its own terms. 


I know you are expecting a pat in the back from Me but rather I seem to urge you on to continue. 


This is because I understand what is happening to you. You are passing the qualifying test to be brought into the circle of men wondered at, Zechariah 3:7&8.


It won't just happen by default because I spoke it. It will happen because you paid the price, 1Timothy 1:18.


This is not the time to consider your body at all or the limitation of your flesh. If you do you will be asking greatness to leave you alone, Romans 4:19


You may not know what is happening to you but you are hosting greatness as your visitor right now and it is considering you whether you will pass its qualifying test so he can reside with you permanently. 


Did I not say that my Word tried Joseph for a season until his word came? Psalm 105:19. 


That was his training for greatness, in the pit sold by his brothers, in Potiphars house as a slave and in prison for a crime he didn't commit.


All you see is the labour dimension of what you are doing but it is the spirit of greatness that has come to try you so that you can be brought into the cycle of men wondered at, Zechariah 3:7&8. 


Instead of considering the limitations of your body, consider the power of My resurrection, it will help you to endure, 1Corinthians 15:29-32.


You are being made, not being broken, it is just that both look like alike. It takes discernment to distinguish between the two, John 5:28&29, Jeremiah 18:1-6, Isaiah 27:7


I died as well as the two thieves crucified with me, one death was unto resurrection and the other unto perdition but death was common to both.


You are being broken to be made into something glorious not broken to pieces to be carried away as chaff by the wind. Breaking is involved in both.


Both the creation waiting for the sons of God and the sons of god they are waiting for are groaning but for different reasons. One for liberty , the other for his mortality to be swallowed by immortality, Romans 8:22-23.


I that I am talking to you I am the manifestation of the Spirit of understanding, I have been walking with you for so long on this journey and I am one of the reason why you have stayed so far on this journey, Isaiah 11:2


Without my ministry in your life you would have given up a long time ago. 


Wisdom is the principal thing so get wisdom and in all thy gettings get understanding, Proverbs 4:7.


I understanding, will keep you and preserve you I will establish you and strengthen you, Proverbs 2:11

Anything short of you being born again and living a life of holiness and purity hurt Jesus so much. But you can make things right here and now by saying this simple prayer and mean it genuinely from your heart:


 Lord Jesus I come to you today. I acknowledge that I am a sinner and I cannot help myself. I repent of all my sins and I forsake them. Jesus, I invite you into my life, be my Lord, be my Saviour. 


Wash me by your precious blood, forgive my sins and write my name in the book of life. From this day, I promise to follow you all the rest of my life. Help me Lord, in Jesus name, Amen. Congratulations you are now born again!

CHANGE FOCUS One major winning strategy is to keep your focus on what God is doing and not on what God is yet to do.  The devil is very adept at making people focus their attention either on what he is doing in their lives or on what God is not doing for them  This is the reason for sadness and depression.
