THE DOMINION MINDSET

(PART 1)

Genesis 1:26

True dominion is dominion over time. Whatever takes your time takes your life and invariably your  dominion. You are created to dominate time not the other way round. 


The gift of God to every human being is the gift of time and it is distributed equally to all, Ecclesiastes 9:11


Every human has access to the gift of 24hrs a day. What they do with it is what makea them great or less, poor or rich, Proverbs 22:2.


What is a good job? Is it a job that pays much but take all your time or a job that pays less but leaves you with lot of time at your control and disposal? 


Opportunities abound everywhere around you, but many are not seeing them or not discerning or simply lack understanding, Ecclesiastes 9:11


Any job that gives you control of your time, regardless of what they pay you is a good job and any job that takes all your time regardless of what they pay you is not a good job. 


The pay is not what determines whether a job is good or bad it is how much dominion over time such a job leaves you with. 


Walking in dominion is being in charge of time. If you are not in charge of your time you are a slave somewhere. 


If you are in charge of your time you are truly a free man.Whoever is in charge of your time is your boss.Time is currency, it has purchasing power. 


Unfortunately many people don't see it that way. They only see the pay but not the effect it is having on their time. 


You must constantly be walking and working towards freedom so you can be in dominion like God called you to be, Psalm 82:6.


You know a good job by how much time it leaves in your control not by how much it pays. 


Many are travelling abroad today to enter into the trap of slavery. High paying job, but no time left for them to discover who they are and fulfil their destiny. 


That job even though pays well in your own thinking has robbed you of something much greater and higher. 


Your job is not paying you much but it leaves you time to discover who you are and fulfil your destiny that is a good job. 


Many don't think so because they have a slavery mentality not a dominion mentality. 


They think someone has done them a favour by giving them a job. No it comes at a cost, the cost of your time. 


The reason your time has no value to you is because you have not found anything that should occupy your time, so you sell it to the highest bidder, that is, whoever can afford to pay for it. 


If you invest in yourself and become very valuable you will sell time, that is make business from selling and buying time. 


You can't engage in time business if you are not valuable and this is why you went to school and why you learnt a skill, to put value to time.


But no amount of these can make you buy and sell time and make find fulfillment from it like discovering who you are in destiny and the gifts that God has deposited inside you, Proverbs 18:16. 


God does not change His mind about His giftings and callings in our lives. The best we can do is to find what they are and align with them, Romans 9:11


When you find your gift and you sharpen and fan it to flame you will sell and buy time not look for jobs. When you begin to do this you have entered into the realm of wealth. 


Your mindset plays an important role in your walling in dominion.


Wealth has a mindset, dominion has a mindset without having the mindset you will waste whatever God gives to you like time and money and ideas, Matthew 9:16-17.


You are truly ready to walk in wealth and dominion when you get the right mindset not when you are given money or time. For as he thinks in his heart so is henot as he earns in his hands, Proverbs 23:7.


It is the mindset that is the wineskin that holds the wine. Wealth or dominion without the right mindset is a waste. 


The devil knows this, so he is not intimidated when people get rich. His real agitation starts when a people begin to get the right mindset because he knows they are truly on their way to freedom. 


Many are rich but not free, they are very bound. Infact the richer they are, the more bound they become. 


Begin to look at life opportunities and things from the standpoint of how much liberty it gives you to have control over your time and your ability to express your God given talents and purpose.

PRAYER: FATHER GIVE ME A THOROUGH UNDERSTANDING OF MY DOMINION IN CHRIST. HELP ME TO WALK IN AND STANDFAST IN THE LIBERTY WHEREWITH YOU HAVE CALLED ME IN JESUS NAME.

Anything short of you being born again and living a life of holiness and purity hurt Jesus so much. But you can make things right here and now by saying this simple prayer and mean it genuinely from your heart:


 Lord Jesus I come to you today. I acknowledge that I am a sinner and I cannot help myself. I repent of all my sins and I forsake them. Jesus, I invite you into my life, be my Lord, be my Saviour. 


Wash me by your precious blood, forgive my sins and write my name in the book of life. From this day, I promise to follow you all the rest of my life. Help me Lord, in Jesus name, Amen. Congratulations you are now born again!

SPIRITUALLY AMBITIOUS OR A GOD SEEKER? PSALM 24:6 Just as one can be ambitious physically, one can also be ambitious spiritually too.  Sometime ago, I listened to a preacher and he mentioned the number of hours he spent praying and I was challenged.  Right in that meeting I made up my mind to jack up my prayer life and I set it as a goal.
