BUILDING STRENGTH FOR ADVERSITY

(PART 2)

Proverbs 24:10

A man may be preparing you for harvest and all he keeps giving you day after day is sacks for the harvest season that is coming.

But,  suddenly one day he gives you a sword and you wonder what is it for and he said equipping in case.

The reason why many people fall is because they didn't prepare for falling while they are rising they only equip themselves for rising not falling.

It is not lack of faith to prepare for both. Sometimes it is good to think otherwise and prepare ahead.

That way you have the shock absorber against failure. Even if you fall, you won't fall too badly because you considered it and prepare ahead.

When God sends you to a people it is not everything God tells you to tell them they will like but it is everything God tells you to tell them they will need.

You may not like what you are told but you will need it for your preparation and equipping. Leaders must know this as well as followers.

Many people especially christians only prepare for the good but not the bad so when the unexpected happens they are worse hit. Some don't even come out of it because nobody prepared them for it.

The real strength of a building is tested during storms and flood not when the weather is perfect.

Many only prepare for perfection but not storm so they assumed they have a strong building until the storm came and they saw what they have builded could not stand the test of fire.

The bible says God will test what we have builded with fire and it is only those things that survived the fire that is a true testament of our faith and what we have built.

By the time the fire subsides some will not have a building left at all only ashes.

Every man's work will be tested by fire that is trials, testings challenges, shakings.

What is left after the shaking is what is the true measure of your strength.

Those very things you hate to hear are the things God uses to equip and prepare you, it is called being poured from vessel to vessel.

May your quiver be full of many arrows (children). For happy is the man, ready is the man, prepared is the man whose quiver is full of children for they will stand at the gate and fight his enemies,

You must not only have children for days of celebration and victories you must also have children for days of battle. May God give you both.

If you have both, truly your quiver is full and happy are you.

You are a true leader when the feelings and responses of your followers no longer stops you or affect you from telling them what they need and not just what they like.

There are some pain only leaders can feel and some joy only leaders could feel.

PRAYER: ASK THE LORD TO MAKE YOUR FOREHEAD HARD LIKE A SINEW SO THST YOU WILL NOT COMPROMISE NO MATTER WHAT. ASK THE LORD TO STRENGTHEN YOU SUPERNATURALLY IN ANY ADVERSITY.

SALVATION PRAYER

Anything short of you being born again and living a life of holiness and purity hurt Jesus so much. But you can make things right here and now by saying this simple prayer and mean it genuinely from your heart:

Lord Jesus I come to you today. I acknowledge that I am a sinner and I cannot help myself. I repent of all my sins and I forsake them. Jesus, I invite you into my life, be my Lord, be my Saviour.

Wash me by your precious blood, forgive my sins and write my name in the book of life. From this day, I promise to follow you all the rest of my life. Help me Lord, in Jesus name, Amen. Congratulations you are now born again!

PEACE
