THEY THAT BE PLANTED

Psalm 92:13&14

Sometimes in life we hurry and move from place to place only to find out we have never really left one spot.

But atimes we remain in one physical location for long, only to find out that we have reached the world even from that one spot.

The Bible talks about being planted in one spot and from that spot the shadow of your branches will spread and cover the hills and mountains and you will spread your boughs and root to the seas and rivers, Psalm 80:8-11.

The blessings of God are not place dependent they are His will dependent.

People keep making that mistake over and over again and till tomorrow they will keep making it but you can exempt yourself from that statistics.

You cam be in one spot and kings of the earth will come and meet you in that one spot and bring you out, that is the description of a man God is working it.

People will seek out the grace from wherever it is hiding whether in the wilderness, desert or bush.

They remain at their duty post and from there touch the whole world. But when you see a man jumping from place to place you have seen a man runnning his own race, attemptibg to make it by his own wisdom.

When truly you are walking with God some fruits of the spirit will automatically be coming out of your life.

The problem many have is they can't really stay long at a place or at a thing until they succeed or become known with that thing. They never really can stay at a thing until it breaks through.

When you understand the ways of Gid, He plants people and cause them to take deep root and then spread, Psalm 80:9

Isaiah 27:6 says He shall cause them that come of Jacob to take root: Israel shall blossom and bud, and fill the face of the world with fruit.

Isaiah 37: 31 says "And the remnant that is escaped of the house of Judah shall again take root downward, and bear fruit upward".

When God asks you to stay in a spot for so long, what He is doing to you is causing you to take root.

At the time when you are taking root no fruit is seen on you. You will look so unproductive, even though you are being nourished from time to time.

All the norushment you are receiving at that season is causing you to take deep root. It is that root that will sustain the weight of your fruits when you start bearing fruit.

Never be in a hurry to leave the place of rooting, it is when and how the fruits of the spirit are cultivated in you, not when you are bearing fruit, James 1:3&4.

It is at the stage of rooting that you learn perseverence, endurance, patience, longsuffering, faith, joy in trial, love, peace e.t.c. 1Peter 1:6&7.

When you see people that have an household name, they are people that took time to take root.

A whole street is named after them, whereas they were the only ones on that street for so many years.

If you want to build anything that will last it will come through endurance. The lesson learnt during those period is what will sustain that business.

When you understand the ways of God you will know God plants people and cause them to take root.

Nobody takes root moving from place to place, when it is God, He plants and cause to take root, deep root. That is why we are compared to a tree not a shrub or crop, Isaiah 61:3, Matthew 13:31-33, Isaiah 22:23-24.

If it is God, even if you will travel round the world you must have a base where you are planted and have taken root before your fruits now cover the face of the world.

There must be a place or location where you grow from.

When you find yourself moving from place to place every now and then, it is not God leading you, you can't be planted, that way and you can't definitely take root that way.

When it is God you will be in that one spot but you will be getting your root thicker and thicker and spreading and spreading everyday.

From that localty, your fruit will reach US, London, Autralia till the whole world is filled with your fruit.

A time will come those that have eaten of your fruit will come to seek you out and bring you out of that place.

It is your fruit that will take you out of obscurity to limelight. It will never be that you are jumping from place to place seeking limelight for yourself.

Majority of those that jump from place to place dont produce any fruit, because rhey couldnt stay in one place or at one thong long enough for fruit to come out of them that can go round the world.

When it is God that is the pattern it follows. There is a pattern that already exist from scripture that you can compare your walk with to know whether it is God or not.

Many people like to build on the works of another person because it takes so much effort and discipline to break fallow grounds.

But when you are riding on the platform already created by another, success becomes easy.

However not everybody will ride on the success of another, some will still be a pioneer of some work for God, they will break fallow grounds.

You must know where you belong and understand what it will cost you, the price and prepare yourself to pay it.

My question to us is, Are you willing to be planted? Can God fasten you as a nail in a sure place?

God said He would fasten Eliakim the son of Hilkiah as a nail in a sure place and they shall hang upon him all the glory of his house father's house, Isaiah 22:23&24.

It is to this kind of man God said he will lay upon his shoulder the key of the house of David so he shall open and none shall shut and he shall shut and none shall open, Isaiah 22:22.

We want the glory, but we don't want to be fastened as a nail in a place. This is the condition attached to that promise, a man that God can fasten as a nail in a sure place!

Many of us, though tongue talking, are too unstable and too inconsistent for God to lay anything serious upon us, no opportunity passes us by, we must grab it with both hands and partake of it!

We say if it is good then it must be God, yet we want to command power like John Knox and John G Lake. It comes at a price! Are you willing to be planted?

The future does not belong to theam doing it fast it belongs to the man doing it right.

It is those that be planted in the house of God (planted in His will, planted in His programme and agenda, planted in His way and strategy) that shall flourish in the courts of our God.

They shall bring forth fruit in old age and shall be fat and flourishing, Psalm 92:13&14. Bearing fruit is planting dependent. To bear fruit you must be planted and take root.

I pray for you that the spirit of this mesaage will enter you and cause you to be planted.

No longer will you fight and resist every attempt by God to plant you calling it delay or slowmotion.

Ask the Lord to plant you, that you are willing to be planted and take root before you begin to bear fruits that will spread all over the world.

SALVATION PRAYER

Anything short of you being born again and living a life of holiness and purity hurt Jesus so much. But you can make things right here and now by saying this simple prayer and mean it genuinely from your heart:

Lord Jesus I come to you today. I acknowledge that I am a sinner and I cannot help myself. I repent of all my sins and I forsake them. Jesus, I invite you into my life, be my Lord, be my Saviour.

Wash me by your precious blood, forgive my sins and write my name in the book of life. From this day, I promise to follow you all the rest of my life. Help me Lord, in Jesus name, Amen. Congratulations you are now born again!
