THESE THINGS EXHORT AND TEACH

PART 1

In life, good character will take you farther than intellect will take you. 


In the presence of greatness, show meekness not strength. The meek will he teach His ways and guide in judgement, Psalm 25:9


Work more on your character than you work on acquiring certificates and skills.  


Character will open doors for you that certificates closed or cannot open. 


Life  opportunities ride more on the wings of character than on intellect because character can close a door that intellect open for you if you go with intellect alone and leave character behind. 


Character will give you a name but intellect will give you position. Intellect is limited but character is not. 


Character will continue to speak for you even when skill and intellect are no longer needed or required. 


Good character will open the door of men's heart and hands to you.


 If you ever have to chose between money and character chose character, you are laying in store for yourself a good foundation against the times to come.


Exhort and teach character more than academic prowess, business acumen and akill acquisition. 


Whatever a man gets without getting good character with it is only a disaster waiting to happen.


What you lack in certificate or skill make sure you make up for in character. Character is more powerful than skill or certificate. 


Even if you appear foolish for character sake, suffer it to be so. Character is far more rewarding than skill or certificate. 


When certificate and skill equalizes everyone, let character distinguish you. Certificates and skills are limited but character is not. 


Where certificates and skills end, character continues. Where certificates and skills cannot penetrate character penetrates because it is far more reaching than certificates. 


Character leaves a far more indelible marks on people's mind than skill or certificate. 


In any match on any day character will win and beat skill, Intellect, beauty and money hands down. 


If you have nothing to take for an interview may be you don't qualify in one way or the other or others present have more qualifications than you, don't say you don't have anything, take character with you. 


Sometimes, it is what makes all the difference. In a place where certificates, skills and intellects equalizes everyone let character distinguish you. 


Many times we don't appreciate the place of character until we find ourselves in a position of authority.  


A great man or a successful man will appreciate character than a begger.


 An elderly man will appreciate and value character than a youth. 


Your value for character shows your level of maturity than your age.


 The higher we rise in life the more we value character. 


Character means a lot to a great man than money or certificates or skills.  


If you see anyone despise the place of character, it is a reflection of where he is on the ladder of Life, the bottom rung. 


PRAYER: ASK GOD FOR THE GRACE TO BE A DOER OF THESE THINGS IN JESUS NAME. ASK GOD TO SHARPEN YOU UP IN THE PLACE OF CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT.

Anything short of you being born again and living a life of holiness and purity hurt Jesus so much. But you can make things right here and now by saying this simple prayer and mean it genuinely from your heart:


 Lord Jesus I come to you today. I acknowledge that I am a sinner and I cannot help myself. I repent of all my sins and I forsake them. Jesus, I invite you into my life, be my Lord, be my Saviour. 


Wash me by your precious blood, forgive my sins and write my name in the book of life. From this day, I promise to follow you all the rest of my life. Help me Lord, in Jesus name, Amen. Congratulations you are now born again!

SPIRITUALLY AMBITIOUS OR A GOD SEEKER? PSALM 24:6 Just as one can be ambitious physically, one can also be ambitious spiritually too.  Sometime ago, I listened to a preacher and he mentioned the number of hours he spent praying and I was challenged.  Right in that meeting I made up my mind to jack up my prayer life and I set it as a goal. Immediately after I left the place I began to work at my new goal and was I able to meet up my new goal?
