THESE THINGS EXHORT AND TEACH

PART 2

There are some.places that when you want to go to, don't take anything else only go with character. 


It is the only key you need to get access, not certificate, not skill, not intellects, not your achievements but character only. 


When you are in the presence of the great, don't show your strength show humility and character. 


When  you want to learn or rise higher in life, dont show prowess show meekness. 


Even if you already know what the person is saying or you are experiencing it already just keep quiet. 


If you do, he or she will soon say what you really need but don't yet know.  If not, he won't say anything again and you won't know more. 


It takes a lot of humility to learn.


What people that are already great are looking for is not your achievements or success it is your meekness and humility. 


Keep your achievements and success stories for those that are not up to you they need it as an encouragement on their journey and it will impress them. 


But for someone that had already done what you are doing and even much more you need something far greater than your success stories to gain access into their heart, mind and space. 


That something that is far greater than your achievements and success stories is your meekness and humility. 


When they see It, they will pull you up to where they are. 


When you are in the midst of greatness, never let there be any sign of competition coming from you, it closes the door of access to them against you. 


Maintain your position as a student ready to learn and keep them in their position of a great achiever that is worthy of emulation that you want to learn from. 


When you are in the presence of greatness, don't begin to talk about and celebrate another great person excessively. Keep the discussion around them and their achievements. 


When you are in the presence of greatness, don't do most of the talking you are the receiver not them, so let them do all the talking only talk when asked a question or when necessary. 


Everybody likes a good listener, so let them know they have your 100 percent attention.


Don't show signs of haste or distractions  when you are in the presence of greatness, things like this endears you to their heart and make them want to open up to you. 


Don't be in the presence of Joshua Selman and be celebrating Arome Osayi, you are sending a wrong signal that will put the person off. 


Be intentional about letting the person know how much impact their work has on your life and career or ministry or business. 


Doing this causes their heart to be opened towards you because it makes them happy to know they are adding value to someone and changing lives. 


This is the kind of feed back that can impress them not stories of your own personal success except where it relates to their impacts in your life. 


What people that are great look out for and what attracts them is different from what attracts people that are trying to rise and what they are looking for. 


A man that is trying to rise wants to talk about his little chievements so that he doesn't look like a failure in the eyes of those that are already great or other onlookers. 


A person that is great doesn't do that because his achievements are obvious for everyone to see. 


 So, many times the things that we do in the presence of greatness are what reveals our status as not being there yet. 


That pressure to prove that we are not failing or doing too badly is what shows our level that we are still struggling .



PRAYER: ASK GOD FOR THE GRACE TO BE A DOER OF THESE THINGS IN JESUS NAME. ASK GOD TO SHARPEN YOU UP IN THE PLACE OF CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT.

Anything short of you being born again and living a life of holiness and purity hurt Jesus so much. But you can make things right here and now by saying this simple prayer and mean it genuinely from your heart:


 Lord Jesus I come to you today. I acknowledge that I am a sinner and I cannot help myself. I repent of all my sins and I forsake them. Jesus, I invite you into my life, be my Lord, be my Saviour. 


Wash me by your precious blood, forgive my sins and write my name in the book of life. From this day, I promise to follow you all the rest of my life. Help me Lord, in Jesus name, Amen. Congratulations you are now born again!

SPIRITUALLY AMBITIOUS OR A GOD SEEKER? PSALM 24:6 Just as one can be ambitious physically, one can also be ambitious spiritually too.  Sometime ago, I listened to a preacher and he mentioned the number of hours he spent praying and I was challenged.  Right in that meeting I made up my mind to jack up my prayer life and I set it as a goal. Immediately after I left the place I began to work at my new goal and was I able to meet up my new goal?
