IN OUT AND OUT IN (PART TWO) 1JOHN 1:20&27 This morning I will be sharing with us the concluding part of my last post. From the last post, we were able to see how God can lead us from inside the word to outside by helping us to see our experiences from the perspective of God's Word as we study the scriptures. In this instance you are not studying the Word. I will give us two examples to explain what I mean. God doesn't wait for us to be perfect before He starts to use us, He uses the assignments He gives us to perfect us. There will be times when we encounter situations and our response is no

IN OUT AND OUT IN John 14:26 I know you are wondering what is the meaning of in out and out in. Please, ride with me. The knowledge you are about to receive this morning will help you understand how the Holy Spirit teaches us the Word of God. The Holy Spirit does not lead us separate from the Word of God, John 15:26&27, John 16:13-15. According to John 5:31-38, there are three levels of knowing Jesus. LISTENING ATTITUDE LUKE 8:18 This morning I will be sharing with us on listening attitude. It is a continuation of my last post, "PAY ATTENTION!". Listening attitude refers to the way we listen, either to a person, a message, a book. You read a book but the truth is you are listening to what the author is saying in the book. Your listening attitude refers also to the posture you assume to listen to something and it goes a long way to determine what we get from whatever we listen to. However what each person listen to is dif

PAY ATTENTION! PROVERBS 4:20 The proof of knowledge is remembrance. The proof that you read something is that you can remember what you read. Without remembrance no knowledge is impacted. Practice this excercise whenever you read. After reading, close the book and try to remember what you read. Do it immediately after reading and do it hours after you have quit reading. Do this especially for the Word of God because if there is something the devil is ardent on stealing it is the Word of God from your heart, Matthew 13:19, John 10:10 There are two ways by which we listen , you listen with your ears and you listen with your heart. Here is how you will know whether you have been listening with your ears or heart. When you listen with your ears, it enters one ear and goes out through another but when you listen with your heart, it remains with you. The next question you will want to ask me is how do I listen with my heart? BY PAYING ATTENTION. Attention is undivided concentration tha
