A REVELATION OF GOD'S MERCY Luke 15:11-24 Why do we need a revelation of God's Mercy? So that when we sin or have done badly we will not run away from.God but to him. Why do we need a revelation of God's Mercy? So that when we fall short of grace and do not qualify, Gods mercy can bridge the gap for us. Why do we need a revelation of God's Mercy? We also need mercy when we are not deserving of a thing either by qualification, birth, position or other reasons but it is what we need for life and destiny. The mercy of God sometimes does not completely take away the consequences of a sin but rather it reduces the severity of the consequences. In this instance we also need the mercy of God to reduce the severity of a punishment for our wrong doings We need the mercy of God when we sin in ignorance and not intentionally. Our pattern man for studying the subject of God's mercy is David in the old testament and Jesus in the new testament, Luke 23:24 David was a man.t

HIS BEAUTY FOR OUR ASHES Isaiah 61:3, 2Corinthians 4:7 The Lord told me that if He had given me the pen to write the story of my life the way I would want it to be, the story I would have written would have been so perfect, so flawless that God would neither be needed or captured in it. A perfect story is an ordinary story. A perfect life is an ordinary life, because it is a life that excludes the need for God or dependence on Him to achieve. It is the imperfections that the stories of our lives come with that makes us to need God, 2Corinthians 12:10 Infact, they are God's opportunities and avenue to introduce Himself to us and to show Himself strong on our behalf, 2Corinthians 12:9 The Lord told me it is those very imperfections around your life that you don't like that makes your story an extraordinary and a beautiful one, 2Corinthians 4:7. The imperfections around our lives are God's opportunities to glorify Himself and reveal Himself to the World, 1Corinthians 1:27-29

FORGET NOT BUT REMEMBER JOHN 10:10 The first line of attack of the devil is not to kill or destroy, it is to steal. He steals first before he kills or destroy. If the devil cannot steal God's Words and His testimonies from you, he can't succeed in killing or destroying you. His first line of attack is stealing and how he does this is by making you to forget. Forget who you are in God, forget what God has said, forget your prophecies, forget God's promises. The devil steals by making you to forget. If he can make you forget the testimonies of God, he will steal your joy. If he can make you forget the goodness and kindness of God, he will get you into discouragement and discouragement if unchecked gives way to depression. This is why one of the major assignment of the Holy Spirit in the life of a believer is to make us remember. Jesus said the Holy Spirit will bring to our remembrance the things that He has taught us, John 14:26. He said He will take of what is Mine and

WHO MUST SEE YOUR FAITH? Hebrews 11:1 Acts of faith can be easily misunderstood or misinterpreted by men because faith is not an earthly currency. Just as money is a means of making purchase on earth, faith is a means of making purchase in heaven, Hebrews 11:6. A lot of times, in exercising faith men have misinterpreted it in different ways and because of this we must be very careful of the opinions of men when exercising our faith . The Syro-phoenician woman's faith was misinterpreted as a beggarly attitude even by Jesus's disciples but Jesus called it great faith, Matthew 15:21-28. Whoever heard the Centurion told Jesus not to come again to his house but only speak a word could easily misinterpret it as pride or something else but Jesus said it is great faith, that he understood authority, Matthew 8:5-10 . Your faith is between you and God who is the performer not any man. Faith is acting on something you believe, something you know which others may or may not believe or
