HIS BEAUTY FOR OUR ASHES

Isaiah 61:3, 2Corinthians 4:7

The Lord told me that if He had given me the pen to write the story of my life the way I would want it to be, the story I would have written would have been so perfect, so flawless that God would neither be needed or captured in it. 


A perfect story is an ordinary story. A perfect life is an ordinary life, because it is a life that excludes the need for God or dependence on Him to achieve. 


It is the imperfections that the stories of our lives come with that makes us to need God, 2Corinthians 12:10


Infact, they are God's opportunities and avenue to introduce Himself to us and to show Himself strong on our behalf, 2Corinthians 12:9


The Lord told me it is those very imperfections around your life that you don't like that makes your story an extraordinary and a beautiful one, 2Corinthians 4:7.


The imperfections around our lives are God's opportunities to glorify Himself and reveal Himself to the World, 1Corinthians 1:27-29


Rather than crying over why your life is the way it is, why don't you hand over it to the Lord and ask if He can use them as an avenue to glorify Himself. 


Why don't you hand over those seemingly wastes and ashes and see if He will not give you His beauty in exchange for it? 


Once your life becomes His sanctuary, no matter how ugly it looks in the past, the only thing that can come out of it now is only beauty and Glory, Isaiah 60:13


God is not intimidated by how imperfect our lives are, by how very ugly our lives are presently, by how dark a past we have and how bleak the future looks. 


Infact they are his avenues to show case His power, His beauty and glorythrough them when hand them all over to Him, Jeremiah 18:1-6


The marriage that is not working, the divorce, the very wayward children, that unemployment, that delay in marriage.  


He is saying to you concerning them.like He said to Israel, can I not do with you as this potter? As the clay is in the potters hand so are you in my hands.



Those things that left to you, you would never have included them if you were the one writing it, give them over to God to use them for His glory. 


They are His own opportunities to reveal and showcase Himself as God through your life, Ephesians 2:10.


They are what makes your story captivating and your life extraordinary.


If you want an ordinary life then ask God for a perfect life, a life that doesn't need Him or recognize Him or depend on Him. 


For God to be glorified in your life there must be a place He took you from, a journey He took you through and a destination He brought you to that without Him you wouldn't have made it. 


This how our lives bring glory to Him, when He is the reason behind the beauty and the glory that the world see in our lives.


When we are not ashamed to let the world know that without Him we wouldn't have made it this far, then He is glorified.


This is what is an extraordinary and a great life in the sight of God. 


So, when satan reminds you of those imperfections as an attempt to make you hate your life and hate yourself and become sad or want to give up.


With this understanding that this message has brought to you, begin to interprete it correctly as not to your disadvantage but for the glory of God, John 11:4, John 9:3.


They are the very things that makes you extraordinary, your scars, your pain, your imperfections.


Those part of your life that you would never have wanted if you have your way, your delays, your wounds and pain.


Every single one of them that satan has used to mock you through men, they are actually God's opportunity to show case His glory through your life, to give you His beauty for your ashes, Isaiah 61:3


You don't have to hide them again or be sad because of them again, because in reality they are your trophies, your testimonies that God is faithful, not your shame or reproach, Isaiah 51:7&8, John 16:20-22


PRAYER: THANK GOD FOR THE UNDERSTANDING HE HAS BROUGHT TO YOU THROUGH THIS MESSAGE, THEN HAND OVER ALL THOSE IMPERFECTIONS THAT HAVE MADE YOU CRY IN THE PAST TO HIM, THAT HE SHOULD BRING BEAUTY AND GLORIFY HIMSELF THROUGH THEM ALL


SALVATION PRAYER


Anything short of you being born again and living a life of holiness and purity hurt Jesus so much. But you can make things right here and now by saying this simple prayer and mean it genuinely from your heart:


 Lord Jesus I come to you today. I acknowledge that I am a sinner and I cannot help myself. I repent of all my sins and I forsake them. Jesus, I invite you into my life, be my Lord, be my Saviour. 


Wash me by your precious blood, forgive my sins and write my name in the book of life. From this day, I promise to follow you all the rest of my life. Help me Lord, in Jesus name, Amen. Congratulations you are now born again!

SPIRITUALLY AMBITIOUS OR A GOD SEEKER? PSALM 24:6 Just as one can be ambitious physically, one can also be ambitious spiritually too.  Sometime ago, I listened to a preacher and he mentioned the number of hours he spent praying and I was challenged.  Right in that meeting I made up my mind to jack up my prayer life and I set it as a goal. Immediately after I left the place I began to work at my new goal and was I able to meet up my new goal?
