THE MYSTERY OF REDUCTION

PART 2

Judges 7:2-7


May be like Gideon you have sent out messengers throughout the land in form of fliers unto Asher and unto Zebulun and unto Napthali.


You might even have placed adverts from Dan to Basheeba , and have rolled out jingles from Zoah to Estacol and you have gathered your 32000 but God has reduced it to 300 and you are saying what a loss, am I accursed? 


Is the ministry or business not going to grow? This message has come to provide explanation as to why it COULD be so. 


You have tried many times and God has pegged you at a constant figure. This could be why. 


God's ways are not our ways, His thoughts are not our thoughts and His plans are not our plans, Isaiah 55:8-9


Sometimes when God is building, to the ordinary eyes what is being seen is a tearing down. Only when we come to his light do we see light, Psalm 36:9.


When Habakukk came with a complaint before God, he left rejoicing even though nothing has changed in what he came to complain about. 


He left rejoicing because his perspective has changed. 


This is exactly what this message has come to do to you this morning. To give you a changed perspective. To strengthen you to continue and not give up and to supply understanding to you as to why.


So strengthen the feeble knees and lift up the hands that are hung down


The just shall live by his faith. 


What keeps us going is not the physical evidences that we have yet, but what He has said and His ability and integrity to bring it to pass. 


We rejoice at His word while as yet we do not have the physical evidence because we trust Him to bring it to pass, Hebrews 10:23


This is what it means that the just shall live by his faith.


WHEN the mouth of the Lord commands, His spirit gathers them, Isaiah 34:16


PRAYER: FATHER COMPLETE YOUR WORKS IN ME, MY MINISTRY, MY BUSINESS AND FAMILY. HELP ME TO UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU ARE DOING IN MY LIFE SO THAT I CAN COPERATE WITH YOU AND NOT STOP YOUR WORK.


SALVATION PRAYER


Anything short of you being born again and living a life of holiness and purity hurt Jesus so much. But you can make things right here and now by saying this simple prayer and mean it genuinely from your heart:


 Lord Jesus I come to you today. I acknowledge that I am a sinner and I cannot help myself. I repent of all my sins and I forsake them. Jesus, I invite you into my life, be my Lord, be my Saviour. 


Wash me by your precious blood, forgive my sins and write my name in the book of life. From this day, I promise to follow you all the rest of my life. Help me Lord, in Jesus name, Amen. Congratulations you are now born again!

THE PARTICIPATORY ROLE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT IN YOUR LIFE ESTHER 2:9&15 Esther did not just become attractive to king Ahasuerus and became his queen, she was taught what to do to win the heart of the king by Hegai who had charge of the harem.  Jesus handed us over to the Holy Spirit to continue His ministry on earth(John 15:26), to teach us what to do to please the Father and make us attractive to Him, John 14:26  But first of all, Esther had to please Hegai, an example of the Holy Spirit by recognizing and honoring his person, she respected his opinions and suggestions and because of this she found his favour, Esther 2:9.  It was after Esther had pleased Hegai, that he showed her what to do, how to appear before the king, what to take along to win the heart of the king.  Hegai did not delay the supply of Esther's beauty treatment and special food because she found favour in his sight. MASTER AND OVERCOME MOCKERY PART TWO ISAIAH 51:7-8 I remember when the Lord instructed me to start a WhatsApp group and be sharing messages on it, many people started commenting and leaving the group, infact they left in droves.  When I got to the office the following day, some of my colleagues who were also part of the group their first reaction was to laugh me to scorn.  Even one of those very close to me couldn't just stop laughing at me. They laughed so much at me and I looked so foolish to myself that I decided to cancel the group.  But the Lord said I should go and re-create the group again which I did.
