THE GOD THAT HIDES HIMSELF

1Kings 19:11-13



As mighty as God is, He doesn't flaunt power, He loves to hide Himself and His workings in seemingly natural activities or steps that are miraculous yet shrouded in simple simple things. 


God doesn't do show off if it doesn't become necessary and it won't be because of show off if He has to. It will be for a far nobler purpose 


That is why when He is inside you, you can carry Him from place to place quietly with only His still small voice guiding you. 


If everywhere you go, you are floating and levitating, just imagine how much embarrassed that will make you.


Even you will get tired of it over time, that God can we just enter here quietly without nobody knowing we are here? 


So, God's spectacular doesn't happen everyday, it happens occasionally. 


But His day to day saving and deliverances are hidden in seemingly very natural day to day activities.  


God can give you a very major deliverance and you didn't even notice it bevause it happened without so much noise and razmatazz. 


The Lord said to teach His people how to be able to identify God in daily activities, day to day life and seemingly small small things. 


His 99 percent leading in your life will be through the inner voice and knowing, only 1 percent or there about will happen through the spectacular acts of God if any at all.


If you can only recognize God when He is moving in the spectacular you haven't known him yet. 


Those that truly know Him recognize Him as He hides in seemingly natural day to day life and activities to wrought His special work of healing,breakthrough deliverance, provisions, protection e.t.c. 


His chosing to hide Himself in seemingly simple and natural.steps is not because he doesnt know He is mighty, it is because He is mighty and doesn't need to prove it to anyone. 


He wants to be known but in very simple ways. If you can discern him in the simple simple things without the spectacular then you truly recognize him. 


Can you see his hand even in the midst of your daily activities or the only time you recognize Him is when someone falls under the anointing in church or the blind sees and the deaf hears? 


Can you also see Him as the reason why you have not been deaf because He doesn't only heal, He also preserves.


Don't only recognize Him when alert enters your phone, recognize Him as the reason why you haven't gone broke and begging yet. 


He is the reason why it has not happened and He is also the one that delivered you when it happened, Isaiah 31:5


You must know God as the one that gives life, sustains life and also resurrect the dead back to life, 2Corinthians 1:9, Romans 14:9, John 11:25&26.


There are so many things God has quietly delivered us from that if He allowed us to see everytime the kind of attacks and assault being levelled against us everytime, we will be living perpetually in fear. 


But then He shielded us from seeing them and then go ahead to preserve us from entering into it, Isaiah 25:4-5, Isaiah 4:5-6.


This is why you can't wait till you see the spectacular salvation of the Lord before you express your gratitude everytime.


Because per second per minute God is saving you from something . 


You crossed the road safely, it is because He delivered you. You could have been hit by that car and die. So thank Him for crossing the road safely.


You have not really know God until you can recognize Him in seemingly small things and day to day living.


It is the reason why many have not been enjoying their walk with God. 


They only recognize Him when He is moving mightily through spectacular operations.


PRAYER: FATHER OPEN MY EYES TO BE ABLE TO RECOGNIZE YOU IN SEEMINGLY SMALL THINGS AND MY DAY TODAY ACTIVITIES.


SALVATION PRAYER


Anything short of you being born again and living a life of holiness and purity hurt Jesus so much. But you can make things right here and now by saying this simple prayer and mean it genuinely from your heart:


 Lord Jesus I come to you today. I acknowledge that I am a sinner and I cannot help myself. I repent of all my sins and I forsake them. Jesus, I invite you into my life, be my Lord, be my Saviour. 


Wash me by your precious blood, forgive my sins and write my name in the book of life. From this day, I promise to follow you all the rest of my life. Help me Lord, in Jesus name, Amen. Congratulations you are now born again!

MASTER AND OVERCOME MOCKERY PART TWO ISAIAH 51:7-8 I remember when the Lord instructed me to start a WhatsApp group and be sharing messages on it, many people started commenting and leaving the group, infact they left in droves.  When I got to the office the following day, some of my colleagues who were also part of the group their first reaction was to laugh me to scorn.  Even one of those very close to me couldn't just stop laughing at me. They laughed so much at me and I looked so foolish to myself that I decided to cancel the group.  But the Lord said I should go and re-create the group again which I did.
