THE GOD THAT BRINGS MEN INTO HONOUR
Joshua 3:7
The Lord told me He is the one that honours men by the kinds of things He begins to do through their hands so that the people they are sent to can begin to honour and respect them as His servants, John 5:23.
Trying to magnify yourself or make people honour you is a share waste of time.
Part of what Jesus was slain to receive is glory and honour and these two things are bestowed by God when the time becomes right, Revelations 5:12.
You will just see that the kinds of things God is doing in and through your life are such that makes men to begin to honour and respect you.
It is something that God will do, not you and you must wait for when He is ready to do that. That is why it is called a walk with the Lord.
When God wanted to start honouring Samuel, He made his words not to fall to the ground.
When He wanted to honour Abraham before earthly kings, He made him to be the only one who can pray for their household to be able to conceive again.
When he wanted to honour Joshua he gave him.a strategy that brought about the defeat of a mighty city.
When He wanted to honour David before Saul, he made David to be the only man that can.play harp in such away that the spirits tormenting Saul would leave him.
When He honoured Joseph, he was the only one that could interprete the kings dream and brought lasting solution to the coming famine.
Same with Daniel!
God knows exactly how to bring you into honour when the time is right without you having to strife for it.
Likewise the same way you don't have to strife for honour your don't have to be worried over any dishonour or lack of honour you suffer in the course of ministry.
You need not proof any point to anybody, let God be the one to proof the points to men, you just serve Him faithfully.
To lack honour is not the same thing has to be dishonoured.
You may not be honoured but that doesn't mean you are dishonoured.
For example, in your family or place of work you may not have honour, meaning, you may not be among the honourable ones but that doesn't mean you are being dishonoured in your family or place of work.
This is just to show us that they are two different things entirely, dishonour and lack of honour.
Don't crave for honour, when the time is set God will bring you into it. It is God that brings men into honour.
There is a honour that men gives men by virtue of their achievements in life, Jetemiah 9:23.
There is also another kind of honour that God brings men into by virtue of their walk with him and spiritual achievements that no man on earth can despise, Jeremiah 9:24
As a child of God, the kings of the earth should be the ones priviledge to be where you are and have your attention, Psalm 2:12, Daniel 5:10-12, Psalm 82:6-7.
A child of God should not see being in the presence of earthly kings and princes or hosted by them as a special priviledge, Daniel 5:17
The Bible says they will come to you with their gifts not you going to seek their gifts and when they come they will bow to you and lick the dust of your feet, Isaiah 49:23
Unfortunately, the whole thing has been turned upside down, Isaiah 29:16a, Isaiah 30:13-14.
They should be the ones being priviledge to stand side by side by the oracles of God.
If we are the one seeking them out they will have no respect for the message we carry.
They should be the ones coming for our crusades, sitting in our churches, not minding what the world will say to them.
Not we going to seek them out in their houses and counting it a priviledge to take a selfie with them.
You are the ones I called gods upon the earth, not they. You are the ones I called the salt and light of the earth and the world, not they. You are the ones I gave as gift to them not they.
They are chosen by men but you were appointed and called by God, Hebrews 5:1&4
You can't equate offices created by hands of men to offices created by the hands of God Himself.
I am the one that created your office in Christ from when the world has not began.
It was men and earthly systems and structures that created their offices when the world began.
Their own offices ended on earth, your offices continues even in eternity. Their offices/Position ends after a season or period of time, 4yrs, 8yrs, 2years e.t.c but your office remain with you forever.
No man takes it from you.
The gifts of God are without repentance. Once an apostle is forever an apostle but once a president is not forever a president.
Once an Evangelist is forever an Evangelist (Ephesians1:4, Romans 8:30-31, Ephesians 2:10, Jeremiah 1:5) but once a Vice Chancellor is not forever a Vice Chancellor.
Let's be guided and be wise, don't allow gold to become dross. A spiritual office is gold while a earthly office is dross and tin and brass.
The gold must not be exchanged for the dross because of immediate gratification.
In the parable of the trees the trees understood this and they never let go of their God given assignment to become the king of the trees, Judges 9:8-13.
Who God created them to be is more precious and more valuable to them than who man is trying to make them to be.
A spiritual office is a sacred office it must not be dragged in the mud and it must not be cast before swine.
If you want to know the worth of a spiritual office look at Matthew 13:44-46. The bible says it is worth losing every earthly thing for, just to secure it.
It is that valuable in heaven but is it that valuable to you?
On earth it may not be so valuable again due to mixtures that satan has introduced to it just to make it lose its value and sometimes due to immaturity and falsehood here and there, but it is still a very sacred office.
PRAYER: FATHER, MAKE ME A VESSEL UNTO HONOUR, GIVE ME THE PATIENCE TO WAIT FOR YOU TO BRING ME INTO HONOUR AND GIVE ME THE GRACE NOT TO DESECRATE YOUR HOLY CALLING/OFFICE IN JESUS NAME, AMEN.
SALVATION PRAYER
Anything short of you being born again and living a life of holiness and purity hurt Jesus so much. But you can make things right here and now by saying this simple prayer and mean it genuinely from your heart:
Lord Jesus I come to you today. I acknowledge that I am a sinner and I cannot help myself. I repent of all my sins and I forsake them. Jesus, I invite you into my life, be my Lord, be my Saviour.
Wash me by your precious blood, forgive my sins and write my name in the book of life. From this day, I promise to follow you all the rest of my life. Help me Lord, in Jesus name, Amen. Congratulations you are now born again!
