THE MYSTERY OF THANKSGIVING 1 THESSALONIANS 5:18 The life of a new testament believer is a life of thanksgiving.  You know why?  Because God has given us everything pertaining to life and godliness through the knowledge of Him (death, ressurection and ascension of Jesus Christ) that has called us to  glory and virtue 2Peter 1:3. (Paraphrase mine) This kind of life was demonstrated so much by Apostle Paul, he never ceases to give thanks to God even in contrary situation and circumstances, Acts 16:24-26, Phillipians 1:12, 4:10.  He wasn't just giving thanks because it was the right thing to do, he understood the mystery of thanksgiving. He knew what happens when you give thanks. Thanksgiving is a mystery. It is the key that unlocks our born again spirit and allow the Spiritual blessings locked in it to manifest in the physical.  Simply put, thanksgiving is the acknowledgement of what God has done for you expressed in praise, shout, singing or in words.  If tru...

ENDURANCE HEBREWS 6:15 E ndurance is the ability to endure an unpleasant or difficult process or situation without giving way. "But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved", Matthew 24:13.  That is a powerful statement! Father, I ask that you will open our eyes to the revelation behind this powerful scripture in Jesus name, Amen.  Endurance, perseverance and longsuffering originate from the same root but with little little differences in their meaning and  they are all fruits of the Spirit, Galatians 5:22.  Long suffering is having or showing patience in spite of troubles, especially those caused by other people. Persistence is continuing doing something despite difficulty or delay in achieving success. Endurance is a word many christians don't like to hear. But the truth is whoever cannot endure cannot get anything from God.  The Bible says concerning Abraham, "And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise", Hebrews 6:15....

FEAR NOT, ONLY BELIEVE MARK 5:36 A strong revelation of the word of God drives fear away.  There is something you can know that will not make you afraid where others are shaken to their root with fear.  Is your life built on the incorruptible word of God or on the arm of flesh or human wisdom and expertise?  Every other thing that is not built on the word of God will pass away, moth will eat them up like a garment, the strength of men will fail and the wisdom of men will perish but the word of God endureth forever and ever(1Peter 1:23) and when it is what our entire life is built on we can lie down in safety and none will make us afraid.  Isaiah 33:6a says " And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of our times.....". What do you know that makes you unshakable?  God told Isaiah not to say conspiracy to what the people say conspiracy to and not to fear their fear nor be afraid but to sanctify the Lord of Host Himself and let Him be his fear and let Him be...

THE DISCIPLINE OF CONFORMITY W hen Jesus called His disciples, the offer He gave to them was the offer of being made. He said, "Come, follow me, and i will make you", Matthew 4:19.  As simple as that statement looks, there is a lot contained in it.  Between the calling and the sending there is a process called being made. In between when the promise was given and its manifestation is a journey called wilderness.  What is the significance of a wilderness in the journey of a believer?  It is the place where we become the version of us that can manifest the promise of God.  When God sent His word it was to Jacob but the manifestation was upon Israel, Isaiah 9:8. The Jacob version was the one that received the promise but the version of Jacob upon which the manifestation of the promise will be seen is Israel not Jacob. In between Jacob and Israel is the process called "Being made". The call of God is first to make us before giving to us.  Jesus called the twelv...

MASTER THE LAW OF FOCUS LUKE 12:15 T he secret to a happy life is not having everything. It is focusing your energy on the things you have and seeking ways to be better and improve at them. Without understanding the law of focus we won't be able to stay consistently happy. The law of focus says whatever you focus on gets bigger and bigger and whatever you dont focus on gets smaller and smaller. The reason why you are not happy is because you are focusing your attention on what is not working. If you focus too much on your weakness you will be discouraged but if you focus on your strength you will be encouraged. No man or spirit has the ability to make you sad or happy without your coperation, not satan, not even God. What each does is to change your focus. Because both are spirits, you can't see them do it physically.  They do it through human agency or through your mind by what you think. God can speak directly to your mind and He can use human beings to speak to you, l...

UNDERSTANDING BATTLES. PSALM 18:34, 1Corinthians 9:26 Y ou may be wondering if this message is applicable to you because when we hear battle we turn our backs and mind to it immediately. However the truth is that the whole earth is in a battle; even your own mind is a battle field. If we are not going to fight battles, then why did God call christians soldiers? 2Timothy 4:7 That word soldier alone reminds you of battles and wars, 2Timothy 2:4. Whether you are a believer or an unbeliever you are in the midst of a battle already, so it is important you learn how to fight. The first thing in a battle is not to fight but to understand the battle.Battles must be well defined. To define a battle amd understand what it is you are fighting you need light(illumination the ). Light brings out everything that is in darkness,0 so that they can be seen clearly for what they really are, John 1:5, Ephesians 5:13. Psalm 18:28 says "Thou will enlighten my darkness". John 8:13, Jesus ...

THE POWER OF HIS RESURRECTION 1Corinthians 15 T he power of resurrection has significance both in the life of believers and unbelievers alike.  It works death  that brings about life in the believers(2Corinthians 4:12) and it works salvation in the life of unbelievers(John 3:16). Salvation comprises of four major things: Eternal life, prosperity, health and deliverance.  All these four aspects of salvation are needed by both believers and unbelievers alike. One of my favorite Bible chapters is 1Corinthians 15. This chapter of the Bible teaches us the application of the death and ressurection of Jesus.  It tells us about three major things: The resurrection of Christ, the resurrection of the dead and the resurrection body. Even though the birth of Jesus is more celebrated than His death, His death and ressurection is more significant and pivotal to our christian faith. It is the foundation upon which rest our Christian faith. If He had not died there wouldn't have bee...
