DESTINY SERIES DESTINY MATTERS 111 THE PRICE FOR DESTINY FULFILLMENT (DEATH TO SELF AND KILLING EXCUSES) JOHN 12:24, ECCLESIASTES 11:4. All these petty petty excuses we give disqualify us for greater dimensions of the anointing.  The will of God cannot prosper in your hands that way, Isaiah 53:10b God said He will see the travails of the soul of Jesus and He will be satisfied, Isaiah 53:11  It is not only your laughter that blesses God, even your cries blesses Him, Isaiah 53:10a.  The bible says precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints, Psalm 116:15.  When Jesus  cried in Gethsemane and asked God to remove the cup of suffering from Him, His cries didn't make God to change His mind and His will, Matthew 26:39. He only strengthened Jesus to go through the sufferings. The bible says He learnt obedience through the things He suffered......and being made perfect, He became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey Him, Hebrews 5:7-9....

DESTINY SERIES DESTINY MATTERS 110 THE PRICE FOR DESTINY FULFILLMENT NECESSITY IS LAID UPON ME 1CORINTHIANS 9:16 Many have only served God at the realm of convenience, they never press beyond convenience  to serve God; even though they keep asking for higher anointing, God keeps by passing them.  Now you know the reason, you are not passing the test of convenience, so you have been pegged at a spot.  You don't serve God at your terms, you serve Him at His terms. This is the difference between the ordinary servants of God and the bond servants of God, Deuteronomy 15:16-17.  There is a time at the start of your walk with God where you serve Him at your convenience but as you grow in your walk a time comes where you move into a realm where Apostle Paul called "NECESSITY IS LAID UPON ME", 1 Corinthians 9:16.  Jesus put it to Peter this way in John 21:18 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, When thou wast young, thou girdedst thyself, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: ...

DESTINY SERIES DESTINY MATTERS 109 THE PRICE FOR DESTINY FULFILLMENT (THE SIN OF CONVENIENCE) 1Kings 12:28 Every person you see fulfilling destiny today, did so at a price.  Unfortunately, we live in a generation that do not want to pay any price yet they want to be great, Luke 14:28-30. This is why you see many subscribing to the cheap ways of being successful like stealing, cheating, lieing, killing and defrauding others e.t.c  Only to find out that there is even a far greater price to pay for subscribing to that way, Romans 6:21&23. Fulfilling destiny comes at a price. The earlier you know this and begin to pay the price, the better, John 12:24. Many times, what we see first is the glory of greatness and we begin to desire it but when we come closer we begin to see it comes at a price, Matthew 20:22 When we approach God and our desire is to be great what He shows us is the price, the discipline, the sufferings and the death that brings glory, Romans 8:18 Greatness does ...

DESTINY SERIES DESTINY MATTERS 108 THE PRICE FOR DESTINY FULFILLMENT (UNDERSTANDING GREATNESS) LUKE 22:26 Everyone is paying a price whether they are aware or not. However, it is better to be conscious of what kind of price you are paying on time.  Some are paying the price for greatness while others are unconsciously paying the price for failure.  Every person that fulfilled his her destiny is a great man or woman.  Even though the concept of greatness differs in the kingdom from what it is in the world, greatness in the kingdom is defined by service.  In the world it is defined by how many people you can crush and trample upon and lord it over to climb the ladder of success in any life endeavour. Wanting or desiring greatness is not wrong neither is it bad.  It is in the inate nature of every human to want to be great. The disciples desired to be great to the extent that they wanted to know who will be the greatest among them.  Notice that the Lord didn't...

DESTINY SERIES DESTINY MATTERS 107 THERE IS A RIGHT TIME TO START ECCLESIASTES 3:1 There will always be a starting point for your assignment.  Jerusalem was the starting point for the disciples but ends of the earth was the goal, Acts 1:8 Every assignment from God has a starting point. It starts from somewhere, then move to somewhere and is going somewhere. Not starting well can end your ministry abruptly and send you out of your God ordained territory in a jiffy.  You must wait on God to receive the strategy for how to start and where to start from.  One wrong approach and nothing much can be done again, so you must get it right.  THE RESOURCES FOR THE WORK  When God sends He backs it with provision.  Not only the calling must come from Him, even the resources to do the calling must also come from Him.  Anytime God asks us to do something in the ministry, He confirms it by sending the resources without asking anyone.  The resources would just sta...
