THE GODS OF EGYPT No matter how great and mighty you are you cannot worship yourself. You will look to other things for worship.  What makes something obvious that it is great is the worship that others give to it.   Everything that God created is created to one end to the end that they all might worship Him, Revelations 4:11.  God cannot worship Himself, so everything He created worship Him as the creator.  Unfortunately Satan too wants worship but he is not a creator so he steals worship by making images like unto the creator and deceive people into worshipping him through them.  The book of Revelations talk about the dragon and the image of the beast that the people bow to and worship, Revelations 13:1-4.  The dragon never present it self for worship directly but rather formed images of the beast, infact one image was like unto the lamb but the voice speaking through it is the voice of the dragon, Revelations 13:11&12.  There is the king of...

TRAINING THE MIND PART 2 ROMANS 12:2 The Word of God has dynamics, by this I mean the way it accomplishes what it is sent to do.  The first is to demolish arguments and every high thing that exalt itself above the knowledge of Christ in us, 1Corinthians 10:5. And then to build us up in the ways of the Kingdom, Acts 20:32. For example you have learnt in the world that the way to increase is to hoard what you have but as you study the word you find that there is he that scattereth and yet increaseth but there is he that witholdeth more than necessary and it tends to penury, Proverbs 11:24.  If you receive that Word with meekness it will destroy that initial belief system and then replace it with a new one.  Such that if you practice what that scripture says you will see that scripture fulfilled in your life. TRAINING THE MIND ROMANS 12:2 At one time or the other we have heard people call something they did their brain child.  What that means is that the idea was born in their mind and it became a reality for all to see. You can also call that idea mind child, that is, a product of their mind.  When something is a child it means it is a product of something.  Think of a child and the first thing that comes to mind is one that is naive, innocent and inexperienced.  When someone is a child it means he or she can be trained and given direction as to how to act and relate to things so that he or she turns out a certain way.   When we gave our lives to Jesus, our spirit is what got born again not our minds. Hence the journey of transforming the mind must begin.  With an untransformed mind one who is born again does not differ much from one that is not because in their mind their thoughts are the same, Ephesians 4:18, Isaiah 55:7-9..  They are both controlle...
