LIFE CURRENCY NUMBER 2 (PART 2) Phillipians 2: 9 Many times we are asking for miracles, but God says sit down and let me teach you what will make you never to need another miracle in your life. A man that is well taught is a defenced city. Ecclesiastes 7:12 says, "For wisdom is a defence, and money is a defence but the excellency of knowledge is that wisdom giveth life to them that have it" Receiving a miracle is not as hard as maintaining a miracle. Jesus told the crippled man by the pool of Bethseda after He had healed him, "Behold thou art made whole, sin no more, lest a worse thing come upon thee", John 5:14. What Jesus was implying was that the miracle he received is not permanent but it would be if he didn't go back to his old way of life of sin. That is teaching! There is what you must know to maintain a miracle. So knowledge is more important than miracle. If you have knowledge and apply it rightly you won't always be in need of miracle. One of

LIFE CURRENCY NUMBER 2 Songs of Solomon 1:3 In my last post I I started sharing on what currencies we need to have to make purchases in life. I mentioned RELATIONSHIP as one of them. Today we will be discussing on A NAME as another currency that we can use to make purchases in life. Don't just work to earn a salary or wages, work to earn a good name. A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches and loving favour rather than silver and gold, Proverbs 22:1. What God gives is a name not silver and gold. When God highly exalt Jesus what He gave Him was a name that is above every other name, Phillipians 2:9. A name that every other name anywhere must bow too, Phillipians 2:10. The Shullamite said to Solomon, "Because of the savour of thy good ointments, thy name is as ointment poured out, therefore do the virgins love thee, SOS 1:3. A name carries fragrance and can purchase more for you than silver and gold would. Let the remembrance of your name bring sweet memorie

LIFE CURRENCIES Proverbs 27:10 HOW MANY CURRENCIES DO YOU HAVE TO MAKE PURCHASES IN LIFE? Whenever we hear the word currency what comes to our mind is money like Naira, Pounds, Dollar, Euro, Pasewa, Yen e.t.c. Often times we have concentrated on things that can bring us money like education, skills, business. These things are good but they are not enough. Infact, if the only currency you have to make purchases in life is money you don't have much. Have you ever considered that what money can do, good relationships can do too? There are doors that money cannot open but good relationships will open. So good relationship is a currency. Have you ever done something for somebody because of the relationship they have with you? Has someone ever done something for you because of the relationship you had with them? We are not taught this in school but good relationship is a currency, it gives you what money will give you and much more. It can open doors that money and skill and certific

DIVERSE WAYS BY WHICH GOD SPEAKS (PART 4) Hebrews 1:1-2 A picture is worth a thousand words. Pictures create memories much more than words do, even though you also create pictures with words using your imagination. You are more likely to remember a scenario that took place than you will remember words that were exchanged. Visions, dreams encounters solidify convinctions and God gives these things as they enhance memory more than words. A three second vision can tell a story of ten years in pictures. Pictures sticks to our memory much more than words do. Another reason God gives these things is because of: 3). THE DEGREE OF OPPOSITION that we are likely to encounter in what He has called us to do. One thing that stuck with Joseph all through the time he was in Egypt was the picture he saw in his dreams back at home. Nobody could take those dreams away from him. He knew what he saw and it stick with him and kept him through those harrowing years in Egypt. Sometimes to survive s

DIVERSE WAYS BY WHICH GOD SPEAKS (PART 3) Hebrews 1:1-2 Today, I will be sharing with us one of the remaining two points on why God gives visions, dreams, encounters, prophecy e.t.c. I have already shared with us the first point where I said because of what God wants to do(refer to my last two posts for this). The Holy Spirit gave me a fourth point which is, For the work of ministry. Now to the second point: 2) THE LEVEL OF UNBELIEF IN AN INDIVIDUAL. I remember reading in one of John G Lake's book how he was driving and the Holy Spirit spoke to his heart to just park on the other side of the road which was not his lane and he instantly obeyed. Few seconds after he obeyed, a truck that had lost control rounded the corner and would have rammed straight to his car if he had not stopped or packed on that other side of the lane. That was how he narrowly missed death. Another man of God made reference to that story saying that if it were him, that still small voice would not have be

EXECUTING THE WRITTEN JUDGEMENT PSALM 149:9 The devil loves to interprete what you are going through for you, but you must not allow him. Everytime you accept his interpretation, the result is fear anxiety, worries, discouragement and the likes. You are in charge, not the devil, Ephesians 1:20-23. So, when he comes and begin to interprete the problem he brought in the first place, you interprete it for him by reminding him of the written judgement of his doom. The truth is, with every attempt the devil makes over your life, he has just succeeded in making his shame and defeat bigger not your shame or defeat. The devil is a liar and father of lies (John 8:44), and he knows how to turn the tables around as if you are the one being defeated by the problem he has brought. You turn the table on him by reminding him of his defeat both at the cross and eternally, Revelations 20:10. Tell him, if he had stopped at herod and at the temptation in the wilderness and at Peter; if he had not g

FOLLOWING GOD WHOLEHEARTEDLY Numbers 14:24, Proverbs 4:25-27 When a man is not following God wholeheartedly, he believes there is something that God is not able to give him and he has to restrain a portion of his heart and devotes it to getting those things. But when a man follows God wholeheartedly, all of his heart is given over to God and he believes there is nothing in this life that he needs that he can't get in God. He believes he will get a job in God, a child in God, a husband/wife in God, become great in God, become a successful business man and career woman in God, he will be a good wife and raise godly children in God. He doesn't believe he has to take a portion of his heart away from God to get those things. He gets those things in Him, his whole heart is totally given to God, no portion of it is given to seeking after other things. That is what it means to follow God wholeheartedly. So if he hits a wall in his career, he doesn't reduce the time he spent
